Much needed rear track bar bracket install. Used Teraflex, super easy install and although I felt like my JT already drove great, it is even better with this bracket! I was definitely pushing it with that angle:

Just installed that same bracket. Such nice parts.

Everything is alright with a layer on the balls. Lol
Whatever it is, don’t question it. Don’t second guess yourself. Just put a layer on the balls. Things will improve.

Even hot sauce improves when applied to the balls. Ask Britney.

Drove down to town to get some stuff done. It’s a good day when you have Pandora going and Convoy and East Bound and Down play back to back. Windows down, stereo up, and doing the elbow grip around the corners. Doesn’t get much better.

Day-month-year or ISO 8601 (year-month-date) are the only acceptable means of posting dates.
retired military of day month year ... I have to correct myself often with dates . and forget about time time should only be in 24r mil clock
Yeah I'm in some of them categories and set in my ways. Time is in 24 hours, day / month / year or year / month / day. So at 0116 13/07/2025 I'm typing this one. I don't want to have to deal with Z time anymore. Or keeping track of multiple times zones.

Let’s not forget the Whitworth tools

A friend of mine sold me his 1967 Series 3 Land Rover complete with the engine torn completely down.

Rebuilding it was fine except I needed a couple of Whitworth tools.

Lucky for me my neighbor used to work on old british motorcycles so he had a complete set that I could borrow.

Note to self don’t buy Land Rovers from friends…
When I lived in GA a buddy tried to give me his 65-68??? Land Rover just to move it, fortunately I already had enough vehicle tags and insurance to upkeep

Ran the following trails:
  • Gooderham
  • Salmon Burn
  • Loom lake
  • Old Logging
The stock Rubicon was pretty good, but I did miss the 35" tires from my JLU, and the lift on Hulk put it higher than Toothgnasher. I caught the trailer hitch once, and the rear bumper once. Crossing a washed-out culvert that the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler JK on the run barely cleared had me dragging the rear bumper. I'm not sure a lift and bigger tires would have helped. The approach and departure were steep.

I was a TC later OS in the USCG (radioman) every thing was in Zulu time I would come back from a patrol and have to set my watch back to local

https://greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/gmt-plus-0/

"Time now in GMT
Military Time Zone Name: Zulu - Z

Nowadays, Greenwich Mean Time, abbreviated as GMT, is a time zone designation rather than a time standard. Time difference between time zones can be expressed by the GMT or UTC hour difference.

Looks like it was a good day!! And now you have full justification for a hitch skid and corner skids. “But buying skids is way cheaper than repairing damage to the body of the Gladiator, Honey Baby Sugar Dimples!!”

Hitch skid was on the list, and I assumed the corner steps were also skids. Now I’ll have to go looking.

Disregard my last. You have the fancy Rubi so yeah you have corner armor already. But don’t let that stop you from ordering MORE ARMOR!!!!!

If referring to these pieces (the pipe protecting the rear of the bed behind the wheel, ahead of the bumper)

Those are skids - pretty worthless as steps. The primary purpose is skid.
