Know what you mean. The wheels will be the first thing to go on my gladiator.
I think it would be cool to buy a sport an than see if someone is selling a pair of gladiator rubicon wheels with the factory tires. I would do that.

Probably Sport S, if the Rubicon isnt an extreme amount more I would go for it, but not a huge fan of the red dash.

Exactly what I was thinking! I would want either the black rubicon gladiator wheels or method the standard wheels.

I hear that so much. The red dash is kinda odd so I hear a lot of people saying they don't like it. And it's a big deal because the interior is what you see the most when driving your car. Luckly some color options of the JTR will have a grey dash. (Not that I should care, I'm getting a sport for other reasons.)

I love these sites. Polls always show 60% of the buyers are Rubicons, when in the real world about 20% of buyers are Rubicons.
That's probably because the majority of people buying aren't even on forums. They just walk in and buy what's there or get the cheapest.

Will be a Sport S for me more than likely. As much as I would love a Rubicon I doubt I can save enough for that kind of down payment. If they had the cargo management system on the base sport I'd probably stick to just that.

When I first saw the red dash on the JL last year I HATED it. Over the last year of nerding out on the forum and checking them out in person I have really grown to like it. Now I when I configure a Gator colored JT it has the grey dash and I am bummed. I think the grey dash looks cheap. If I recall I think someone did a write up on how to change out the dash, not sure how much trouble it would be or if I want to mess with it on a brand new ride but maybe. I might be interested in trading a grey for a red with someone, we will see.

go on youtube and search ben Anton. he has really good videos and one of them is him switching his grey dash for a red dash on his mojito! rubicon unlimited.

I want the Sport but all the off road goodies. Rubicon is too loaded for me.

Honestly, I just don't want a rear locker. I like a limited slip in the rear. I'd take a locker up front... but not in the back if it removes lsd. So much of the Rubicon feature set is still for crawling and technical stuff and I just want something that will be fun to mildly. (c: The Sport will do everything I want to do.

I would not like red gauges, can't imagine the whole dash being red - If the only way I can get the JT I want is w/ a red dash, it will be the very first thing I switch out.

I didn't like it (the red dash) at launch of the JL and still really don't. I mean... if it matches the scheme, but honestly think orange looks better with the Sting-gray and that's the color I'll be accenting with. If I had a red dash, I too would swap it out as soon as possible.
