Installed the DASM today. Will be doing the ABS stuff tomorrow. Used taillight tint material to black out the module from inside.

Took dozens of photos. Write up coming soon once the install is completed.
Looks very clean! Awesome job.

If you have ACC, then you also have FCW. It provides the Emergency Stop feature for when something suddenly gets in front of you. There are settings for it in the Head Unit. The Medium setting is recommended. There is also a Warning Only option that turns it off.

The speed control, based on traffic in front of you, is a feature of ACC and only available when it's active and in use.
Emergency stop has never kicked in when someone suddenly pulled out in front of me and I needed it, but it's been triggered three different times by driving under a bridge at highway speed. I have it set to warn only now so I don't get killed by the trucker behind me.

My ACC has been working perfectly. Saved my butt when some clueless idiot pulled out in front of me with no warning. There is no way I could have stopped in time without it.

The only thing mine does that I'm not a fan of is it tries to accelerate way too fast (IMHO) when I pull out from behind a slowpoke. I wish it was a bit more gradual.

it might all be in my head, it feels like if I have the speed set closer to my current speed it will accelerate slower. Ie I had it set on *ahem* 70 on the interstate. Came to a big slow down. And when ever traffic started moving it took off hard. But when I lowered it down to 20 it was much more gradual. I’ve found myself adjusting down when I come to slow downs now and getting a smoother ride.

Just came back from a trip and seeing this wonderful news!

Congrats!

Thanks for reaching out @sapientiam. We will do a write up together. Waiting on my ABS module and pump and they should arrive soon.

Also got my Mongoose programmer and need to register with Witech.

Will be taking a lot of photos. Will take any request so do request if any one of you need any photos as things get taken apart.

Not too far off from factory cost. As long as you pay somebody 50-100 dollars to calibrate the system. Or come to KY and I’ll calibrate it for free. Hell, I’ll help you install it all for a burger and beer.
Where in KY, and I'll even throw in a bag of chips lol

Is there anywhere on this forum that has the full how to? I'm at a point that price is not a factor and I need to have this as I am on the road constantly.

My girl just turned 1 YO. Congrats on your newborn!

ACC is pretty good. Absolutely worth every penny.
