The half doors could serve multiple purposes - prevent spray and rocks and mud from getting in (most of it is on the bottom half of the stock doors), and, it makes certain passengers feel more comfortable.
But around here, if you drive early in the am or a few hours after a rain with doors full off - you will get wet, and not just clean water.

The over-usage of the term "build" to describe what people have bolted on to their "rig". Movie or cartoon themed jeeps, a sign of imminent collapse in western civilization.

What constitutes something being a "build" then? Do I need to forge the steel myself?

leveling kits...
I must agree. I don't understand it. Why take out the rake thats meant to minimize squat when you use the truck as a truck? The rake is minimal anyways, and most of the time when a truck is "leveled" I think it looks like it's squatting in the rear, especially if its a Rubi or Mojave because the rear fenders are lower.

Not a "mod", but I think ducks are dumb. I get that it makes people excited and feel like they are part of something, but it's gone too far. One or two ducks, ok, but anyone with 30 ducks across their dash should be ticketed because it creates a hazard and distraction.

Angry grilles. Nuff said.

Excessively wide wheels, too large of diameter wheels, rubber band tires, and excessive lift kits.

Anything chrome. I hate chrome. Blinding bullshit.

Excessive exterior lighting. There is zero reason to have 6+ lights across the windshield, 3 on each cowl mount, 4+ across the bumper, 4 on each side of the bed rack, and 4 more across the back. You're not providing any more usable light than if you only had a couple strategically placed.

20 different dash accessory mounts. I get a phone mount (two if your passenger wants one), and I get maybe having one for a hand mic or maybe a SMALL tablet if you need it for OnX/Gaia etc., but you don't need one for every single piece of electronics you own. You don't need constant access to ALL of them...

I'm sure if I lived in the SE I'd have a long list. For some reason it seems all the really stupid shit comes from there.

Look mate, if it doesn't look like daylight outside when I turn on all my aux switches, then all my lasfit switches, then my headlights, then my factory fogs, then my maglights that are duct-taped to the dash. . .then what's the point of owning a jeep? 🤣 😆

Pedal commander or any other similar thing.

I said what I said.
Why?
They actually make sense.
Pushing the throttle 2/3 down to get 1/4 response is crazy. Drive one of my cars for a while then go back to the jeep lame throttle.
I prefer instant throttle response.

Although I did have a leveling kit early on as a temporary means before getting my full lift, I will say I don't necessarily mind the minimal factory rake. I'm kind of glad to have it back with my new lift.
