Towing a camper! Rear suspension beefed up?

My wife and I are looking to buy a smaller size camper. Something around the 3 - 3.5 lb range. What is something I can do toy stiffen up the rear end of the truck so it doesn't sag as much. I do have the Tow package as well.

My Rub'y diesel had no problems towing a nearly identical RV up the mountains (Colorado) and recently to South Dakota with stock suspension.

The Air Lift 1000 should be all you need, that's what I'm thinking about doing next myself.

I tow a 27', 5,100 lb (with all we want or need) travel trailer and, the tongue weight is approximately 500 lbs.

I tow with a stone stock Overland (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19) with the tow package.

As far as rear sag, I really don't have any to speak of. I did measure the hitch receiver to ground without the trailer on, then with the trailer on, and only saw about 1 1/2" of drop. Then I connected my weight distribution bars to the hitch and remeasured and the drop was only about 3/4 of an inch.

The trailer you are looking to get and tow, a simple weight distribution hitch will solve any of your concerns.

Yea I'm using a big sway bar hitch and other than blowing a tire on the trailer at 73 mph I didn't notice the trailer behind me other than not being able to see anything on the sides or behind. I'm getting the K-Source 80750 tow mirrors for the next trip.

I'd like to take out the rake that's probably all I really need but still thinking about a rear air kit.

When I bought my Wolfpup 16FQ (~3000 -3500#) it came with an Equal-i - zer hitch. Once I figured out how to adjust it it brought my front end down an inch or two and it’s all I needed. I got an owner’s manual e- mailed to me and then I figured out that you don’t grease the spring bars, turns out that it is pretty good at sway control, too! ‘23 Willys gasser w/ tow package (not max tow).

Take your VIN call local dealer aske for service dept. And have em look up the VIN takes like 30Secs.
