Yes they pulley is facing the engine and the back of the alt is facing the radiator.
What I always wondered about with the earlier alternators, and I bet many didn't realize, is that the "fan" on the alternator, right behind the pulley in most cases, pulls air in from the BACK of the alternator and out the front. In some cases, that means the air coming into the alternator from the rear is close to exhaust manifolds and so on and not exactly cool.
And it's pulling air from the rear, out through the front, against the force of the air coming in from the radiator area.
It must have made sense for some reason, but I always wondered about it - questioned if it was better.
OTOH, I couldn't figure out a fan that would actually shove air in through the front and out the back. It was probably the easiest fan to design, so they all went with it.

Installed a brake controller with cable. Quick and easy. I've used this one before with good results and had one in my 21 Gladiator. It would be nice though if a Gladiator with tow package already had them installed.

Did oil change, oil filter, greased all the Johnny Joints. Tire rotation. Inspected everything. Think I'll be needing brakes by late spring.

I misunderstood. I thought yours specifically was backwards, in relation to how the resort of them are. But I’d had very little coffee at that point in the day.

Did you wire for both back up and aux? Thanks to @WILDHOBO I know what little Amazon goodie I needed to make that happen. Super easy and now bright automatically when I back up and on demand for those moments when someone has their brights on behind you and wont turn them off.
Yes

Got my ace rock sliders today. Now getting up the nerve to remove six bolts without breaking them or the retainers.

Slow and steady. Hand tools only. If they bind up, switch and tighten a half turn or so.

I’m gonna try it tomorrow. I’ll post up when done hopefully. Thank you for the encouragement.

I did mine before I realized induction heaters were a thing. Many swear by those for this project.

@tredzlitely has done the ace install on two JLs and a JT. He might be the foremost expert.

I can attest to the fact that you DO NOT want the drivers rear to break the factory welds on the nut. Or you'll be cutting a hole in the rear inside the cab of your truck...

Seriously, back and forth, heat as needed. Some bolts come out fine without heat, and just some back and forth, some require some heat or they will not budge, no matter what you use, they won't move.

If you look at the FCA documents for the body bolts - it states that if removal of the body mount bolts should be needed, to use an induction heater (even with a nifty picture)
But back and forth is the secret, if it stops moving, go the other way.

Is there a heater you recommend. I looked on Amazon and there many and varied prices. I imagine it is something I will not use often.

I went with this because my wife has a rule - buy the best you can afford at the time. She gets angry if I buy a tool, it later breaks, then I have to replace it.

I knew if I ever said "that darned thing burned out and it's only 3 years old" I'd hear about it.
