I went with this because my wife has a rule - buy the best you can afford at the time. She gets angry if I buy a tool, it later breaks, then I have to replace it.

I knew if I ever said "that darned thing burned out and it's only 3 years old" I'd hear about it.

I also removed the support bar from my rtt and heatshrinked several areas because I’m tired of the clear back window sticking to it when summer camping.

Finally got around to putting in an amp and sub that I had laying around. Used the Trail Seven amp bracket (had to trim a bit due to my thicker flooring), which makes for a clean install under the seat. Sub box is from BRP, which is a perfect volume for this sub and retains storage space. Box had to be modified as well due to needing to countersink the sub in a bit to clear the seat.

Fall arrived, and the temps hit 0° today. First time the seats and steering wheel turned on, so the soft op came off and the hardtop on.

I did mine before I realized induction heaters were a thing. Many swear by those for this project.
I installed my Rock Hard sliders on a cold day in January with no heat at all. I loosened the body mount bolts with a breaker bar then buzzed them out with an electric wrench at full speed. Then I read about people breaking them and that I should have been careful. I guess I was lucky.

I assume you mean 0 degrees Celsius, since you are in Canada. That's 32 degrees here. :)

I didn’t use heat either. I was worried my torch would melt the body mounts. So like you, breaker bar, slow and slower. No power tools for me on that one. But my sliders didn’t require complete removal. Just enough to get the brackets between the washer and bolt.
