I was in the market to replace my '96 Dodge Dakota extended cab back in 2005 when Jeep brought
out the Gladiator concept. I immediately did something I had never done before, I wrote to Jeep,
actually Sergio Marchione at that time with my likes and dislikes. Yeah ditch all the chrome accents
and side access doors (there was one for the jack and another for the area behind the seat I think),
but I did like the rollback rag top. Took months to get a reply, which was to check out Dodge !
I had to wait 15 years for a Jeep to arrive (and 2 more Dakota's in-between). I enjoy the Gladiator,
but an extended cab and longer bed would be more useful, swapped my Freedom panels for a
Bestop Sunrider. Other changes too numerous for this space, it's fun to 'make it mine' but costly.

Give me this with my diesel and 37s, I'd cream my jeans.
I might take flak for this, but give me this with a diesel and 37's with a 6ft bed, and I'd cream in my jeans.

Yep, exactly, the 6ft bed. My 84 Toyota Xtra cab was just about the perfect configuration.

We out grew it with kids, but now it's just the wife, me and our dog. Should of kept that one.
