Exactly what my wife said, "you'll ruin that the first time you touch it" 😂

The screen, sticks out oddly compared to the 8.4, but it's whatever, the dash fabric though, was a no go lol. Especially when the Mojave 23 was going to be like 5k cheaper than the Willy's 24.

I mean it looks nice but man, what a poor choice for a vehicle that goes off road. I mean one dusty trail and imagine all the shit that dash would collect.

If they didn't have 23's on the lot, she'd be driving a Bronco today lol.

It's not a white shaggy carpet on the dash. Most Jeeps have cloth seats and carpet... where your muddy boots go. But the dash? It'll be ruined if it sees dirt? Like all the other cloth/carpet in the thing?

And all the Bronco's had rubber floors too, very nice, very preferable.

If you don't care, buy one. I won't stop you.

But you're wasting your time trying to argue me into believing it doesn't matter to me, because it does. I won't waste any time trying to convince you it doesn't matter to you, if it doesn't.

Not arguing, you're allowed personal preference even if I disagree. They could wrap the entire Jeep in cloth and I still wouldn't buy a Bronco, but you do you.

I’m glad mine has leather seats. Fake leather on the dash. It gets so incredibly dusty, but it cleans up well with some persistence and compressed air. If I had cloth seats, I’d never get all the dust out. I’ve had to pull my carpet out and pressure wash it a few times. Easy enough to do, not so much with the seats.

The fabric that is on the 24+ dash panels appears to be synthetic and treated. I have had mud, coffee, kool-aid, soda, dog slobber and even oatmeal flung on mine and the stuff beaded up and wiped off fine.

Not saying it is better than prior years, but it is not going to soak up like a shop rag and readily stain.

They literally take up soon much of the dash and are distracting. I love my 8.4 to me its perfect size whats next a 35" 4kUHD TV with a annoying on board AI voice replying to every part of your conversations.
The software is so much better in the 24+ head units.
I don't know how the larger screen is more distracting - have you seen all of the modes you can run them in?
You don't have to look at the thing all of the time.............

Couldn't agree more and for me thats just something else for me to bash my forehead against when I am bending over to pick something up. If you 5'10" maybe not a problem try 6'5" .

I have had to scrub and wash my seats and floors over the course of 5 yrs. Have these designers ever went off-road ?

Have you seen some of the others, like Ram and so on, where the thing sticks up inches above the top of the dash and looks like someone propped a tablet up there or they couldn't figure out how to blend it in?
Man, some modern "infotainment" centers look like total after-thoughts.

And this is mild compared to some out there -

Many infotainment systems these days are horrific. It seems especially prevalent in the crossover SUV's and what's left of the sedan market. The completely afterthought, 'slap a tablet' on the dash madness needs to stop. Some of them stick up so high it seems like you could stack a chord of firewood on the dash and use the screen as a stop to keep it from rolling away.

I think Jeep did a pretty good job of putting a large screen into the JL/JT without completely wrecking the interior.
