Gladiator 85th Anniversary Edition [Added: live look video & photos]

Looks like the convoy is just the Anniversary Edition for the Gladiator, similar to the Wrangler setup. Some color and seat changes but nothing like the concept.

I don’t know who thought that Jeep said they were bringing the Convoy concept to reality cause that’s not what the “Convoy” shtick is right now.

They’re doing the “12 Four 12” for the Wranglers where they’re revealing the new limited model every month for 12 months on the 12th day of said month.

The “Convoy” program is them revealing a new limited edition Gladiator for three months. The first one was December 12th, now this basic limited edition model, and then another next month.

I don’t know why people thought they were making that super modified Convoy concept to production … clearly Jeep is just doing stickers and now fabric mods only.

Not at all a surprise that it's not like the concept, though to be honest I was expecting to see them go with similar wheels to those on the concept or at least something more unique. Pretty standard "special edition" stickers and trim packaging ploy used by manufacturers on aging products going back over half a century.

I shouldn't have been surprised, but with the Stellantis descriptions of the concept and the announcement that they were releasing a convoy model my hopes were raised. Silly me.
I hoped they would do the J hood, half-doors and brown or tan top & seats...getting closer to the look of the concept.

They had a countdown on the jeep.com site specifically for the Gladiator Convoy. It didn't say it was an anniversary edition or part of the 12 four 12 program at all.

TBH if the white / light color in them was like a denim blue, and the stripes were changed to suit - I'd put that in my truck.

As an owner of both a Corvette and Jeeps... I mean you're not wrong lol. I have a victory red, ragtop, LS2 built on a Tuesday 1 of 899 built like that...no low balls I know what I have jk. However I do like those seats though, will look good in my Gobi Tan Gladiator!

I had a 2013 Camaro SS/1LE in Inferno Orange Metallic. It definitely was not the last year of Inferno Orange, the first year of 1LE, or 1 of 32 in 2013 in that color that was a 1SS.

I definitely did not know any of the stats on that...
