I remember when Walmart was "Wal-Mart" and a Southern/East Coast thing.

I pre-date Costco, so there's that.
I remember when Wal-Mart advertised Made in America products.

I will sound like a broken record, but that is another one of those things they pivoted away from after Sam Walton died and his kids got greedy.

Our Walmart here got rid of the cattle chute for checkouts!!! I was super impressed by that! It looked like a regular Walmart again!! :like:

I remember when we didn't have all these weird apps.

The gym used to make me feel old, but I’m slowly I’m getting back into good shape and starting to enjoy it again. Mid 40s sucks. I’m used to seeing huge results in a few weeks. I have to work harder at it now.

Yeah I started getting back in shape about 5 yrs ago . And in the mid half century mark it really is a work out.

Yeah. I need to do that. The gym annoys me with the walkers hogging the treadmills and people taking forever on machines. Especially the ones filing themselves. I can’t wait for it to warm up so I can start running outside again. I hate the treadmill.

I actually did alot of study into that turns out brisk walking is just as beneficial for your heart and lung and as we age running is hard on joints. But the treadmill allows me to stay moving when its 16 with -25 degree windchill outside walked 1 mile today at 3.0mph just a brisk walk still made me break a small sweat so was good for the ticker .

This is a good thing too. My running days went the way of the dodo when my Achilles snapped. Doc told me no more runs or it would most likely snap again. Walking, rowing, or biking only. Anything low impact. I still feel old whenever I do anything though. No getting around that. :CWL:

Nothing like having a right total hip replacement at the age of 47 to slow you down. Plus pins in the left foot because you have broke the foot 3 times over the years. :facepalm:Had a pacemaker installed last Oct,

That’s great and all, but be considerate. That’s what pisses me off. I get on and run 2-3 miles and I’m done in 20-30 min max. Cool down and all. When you’re walking for an hr and people are waiting you’re a jack ass.
