Yep. My kids look at me like I have a thing growing out of my forehead when I tell them I had 2 summer jobs by the time I was 13. Try explaining stacking hay bails 5 high when the farmer’s wife driving the tractor sees a slightly dark cloud to a kid raised in SoCal.

A couple years ago I told a neighbor kid I’d pay em $1.25 for every squirrel he caught in my yard. I came home 2 days later and he showed me a video of 22 squirrels in a Squirrelinator all at once. My jaw dropped. I paid him.

Kickball. As a kid, I'd walk up to the plate, look at the outfielders, smile, and kick it 20 feet beyond the left fielder's head.

This past Thanksgiving. Kickball. I walked up to the plate, looked at the outfielders, smiled, and popped it up to 2nd base. ... ... ... F*ck.

I’ll probably humble myself if I try to play. I haven’t played since I was a kid. I played soccer for 18 yrs and could kick a soccer ball 100 yds and I played a lot of 3rd base and outfield in baseball too. I was a natural for kickball. Unfortunately, I’d probably do the same thing now. I’ve been wanting to join an adult league though. I’m sure it’ll come back
to me.

Hell no. I make fun of the boomers here playing pickle ball. I picked soccer back up in an afternoon and did surprisingly good against a bunch of 20 yr olds. I’m not that old. Lol.

I won't play kickball, that's a good way for a Guy old enough to be on AARP to pop a hip joint count me out.
