I just had one of these delivered yesterday from Amazon, 305$ to my door. It came with the hoop and a steel winch plate. Package weighted 90lbs, haven’t had a chance to dig through it yet to really inspect it.

Was able to look at this today. It is aluminum with steel inner structure. I haven’t the lights or anything else on it yet so the weight will increase. 38 pounds as it sits. It came with the winch plate and a light bar also. It’s going to be some time until I get it bolted on but a solid upgrade from the oe plastic one.

Those look like the same tow hooks that MP Concepts uses. I used my stock ones instead. Stock is a lot stronger

I does look the same as the other 10th anniversary bumpers that aluminum outer should be great less weight more durable hopefully they put a better coating on it than the steel ones. You can not beat that price. Swapped over the hooks to keep them Mojave orange, the wiring harness and LED lights. It does take a bit of time to take both apart to swap things with all the fasteners but it will be worth it. I have not had any problem with the winch plate that the bumper comes with but have only used it maybe 30 times on nothing over the weight of the truck. if i have any issue i will reinforce it where it needs it rather than spend the same as as the bumper on another winch plate.

I just noticed that the MP Concepts is $850 now.

I wouldn’t have paid that. I paid $650. Well, really most like $1100 after the Warn winch plate and the rubicon steel skid plate hardware I had to buy to mount the warn winch plate. The MP Concepts winch plate is complete garbage. I’d advise anyone to not use it. Horrible/negligent design.

It looks like they do, but I’m not sure the inner structure might not allow it. I like the extra protection anyway so I won’t F around with it

Just got mine today but it will be a few days (weeks?) before I get into it.

However, the package was well wrapped and there wasn’t any damage to the interior.
Here’s the weigh of the package (87.4#) and the weight of just the bumper (33.4#).
The end caps are removable..

Can confirm end caps come off. I purchased one and just hit it with a black can of paint before installing because I’ve read a lot of complaints about it lacking a quality paint job.

I scuffed mine up and put a few coats of black and also 2k clear, on it because I didn’t like how easily it marred up, but in hindsight I think I would have been fine with just the 2k clear. I did satin. That’s it all drying in the sun. A yr later, I’m still very happy with the results.

That’s the MP Concepts aluminum bumper, but I suspect it’s the same thing.

I purchased the aluminum 10th Anniversary bumper with winch plate for my 21 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. The bumper fits with only two slight trimming modifications. One trim was for the winch, had to trim a small amount on the top driver side area to allow the operation of the winch free spool handle (12000 lbs Badlands Apex winch). The second was the OEM steel front skid plate. Trimmed 3/4" off the two upper cor

ners in order for it to fit.

So I’m getting into the install and in looking at your fairlead I’m wondering if you just drilled out the plastic cover to accommodate the bolts and the rope?

I think it looks better like you did it but just wanted to confirm.
