Ok, the 6th of 12 editions or something just got released. Great graphics, pretty colors, I guess. Supposedly a '70s or 80s thing. OK, next.

How about a REAL special edition. Like a Gladiator with a bit larger and skinnier steering wheel. Take out the front part of the console and put a real manual shifter there. I mean a tall, skinny shifter that goes all the way to the floor with a flattened ball shaped thing that you shift with, like real Jeeps used to have. Then a radio with real knobs on it. And a rubber coated floor. And those steel, retro wheels that they put on the '41 editions or something else I saw. And some good off road tires that are a bit narrower than the wide stuff we typically use today. Maybe it would come in a couple of colors like dull black or grey.

Then you would have a REAL special edition. I'd be at the dealership taking a look as soon as they arrived.
I don't think you understand the difference between special edition add-ons and fully redesigned interiors...

Yeah the DRC Rewind Mojave is amazing, if you guys haven't seen the videos on the build, you should check them out (Dirt Road Cred on Youtube).

I know we (myself included) like to poke fun at the new "stickers", but the fact that Jeep has the balls to release a production purple truck with pink and blue graphics is impressive. The seats are cool and I like the gold/bronze Rubicon and Willys wheels.

Stellantis posted a $26.3 billion net loss for 2025, so they're doing a good job of keeping product fun/cool with limited funds.

Well, yeah - it's actually built up. The Rewind is just a stock Willys with some cool cosmetics.

That said - this is sick and, if I could get either of them with a manual, I'd probably jump on it.
Yep, there's is a full build but I like the looks overall look (stickers, color match, etc) that DRC did vs the factory. Still, pretty cool that Jeep is willing to run a bright purple truck with the graphics they do.

Gross. But it will offer other colors, disappointed they only showed the purple puke.

Have to wait until it's on the website builder next month.

This is a good point. I did a quick search on new purple vehicles on Car Gurus nationwide, and the Glad is in a special group:

Aston Martin Vanquish
Aston Martin DBX
McLaren 750S
McLaren Artura
Porsche Taycan
Chevy Corvette

I stopped searching after that. Not one of them has pink and blue graphics though. 😄

BMW has some wild purples over the years but they're mostly restricted to the M-cars. The current M5 Wagon has Daytona Violet Metallic, M2 has Twilight Purple Pearl Metallic and in the past they've offered TechnoViolet and UltraViolet on M3s. A client of mine races a TechnoViolent M3. UltraViolent IIRC was a pearl.

I have to admit, I would not kick a purple M3 Touring out of bed. Just sayin'

Wow .......

I see we are comparing Gladiators to BMW's.

Next, we compare Bobcats to Lamborginis.

If I really like yellow, then I'll buy the Bobcat.
