What did you do WITH your Gladiator today?

We have a tiny tractor with forks. Obviously I can lift them, but as you said, positioning for install is different than moving them around the garage.

With the forks set wide and a gentle hand on the control, the tractor should be perfect to get them in place, and then a floor jack to finesse as needed.

A motorcycle jack works well also.

I used a milk crate and some 2x6s to put mine on. Since my youngest has moved out, I have to be crafty instead of using slave labor.

I used two plastic tool boxes for my rock slide steps in 2021. Pretty much anything like that works.

On my Binary Star Amazon side steps, the brackets were separate from the steps. Put the brackets on, lift up the steps while grunting like you're trying to pass a massive turd, (while secretly praying that you don't in real life) place them on the brackets. Quickly slide underneath and spin in the most center bolt so they won't slide off and bend stuff.

Of course later I learned of the 5 gal bucket trick. Of course after.....

Yep!!!! Bucket day at Harbor Freight is a Calendar holiday around my house. I go in and grab one pretty much every time. If I’m able to, I drag the wife in so she can grab one too!!!! We like buckets.

We have Homer buckets out the ying-yang. My wife has a Trager pellet grill and had to buy every flavor of pellets made. Each flavor has it's own bucket.

This sounds crazy but it’s really a good idea. I’ve considered getting one of those pellet grills for power outages. We can still use 120 outlets but the stove and oven are too much power use for my solar setup. A pellet grill would work great for that situation.

Yeah we have a basic big box propane. Considering a Blackstone here soon but I’d really like a pellet grill type as well. I like that smoke!!!

I have way too many stove choices in case of power outages, and I too, have a solar system. I have a Coleman gas (several of those), butane, propane and even a cool Biolite stove that runs off wood and also has a built in thermal generator that has a USB port for charging. Pretty cool, toss some sticks in it, the fan kicks in, generates a tornado effect, make the fire REALLY hot and the heat charges the generator. I've used that little doohickey quite a few times, it actually works.

We use the Traeger all the time. If we lose power I want to use my toys !!

Good thing about that Traeger if you're thinking of it; it cooks food perfectly. We've cooked everything and it all tasted great. No opening/closing flues, no adding wood, stoking wood, etc.. It smokes it, then cooks it. It has bluetooth so you can see the temps of the grill, of the meat, etc., all from your air conditioned house. All that's missing is an internal camera with light so you can look at the food without raising the lid.....lol.

My mom has a Weber Genesis that we got her a few years back. I like it a lot as far as propane goes. I have had a the literal cheapest Pit Boss they make for the last 6 or 8 years now. Replaced a couple parts along the way. I find it works for me for grilling and smoking fine.

I also have a Blackstone we bought from a family member. Doesn't get used much but its a good fried rice machine, lol.

Pellet grilles are like Easy Bake Ovens these days - and I love that.

Gives a frozen pizza a nice flavor, too...

Clean way to cook bacon too. No spattering in the house.
