I was just doing a little cyphering..... Taking invoice according to True Car.com on a 2019 JLU Rubicon and apples to apples that puts the base invoice for JT Rubi about $43500. Treadlightly and other pricing guarantees here on the forum make that in the neighborhood of $43K? Of course my configuration makes that look like throwing a deck chair off the Queen Mary!

Can't wait for official pricing so I can figure out how to make the best Extreme Overland edition since I'll be sleeping and living out of my Jeep!
Disagree. If MSRP is 44 then invoice would be 41.8 (estimated)

Just so those on this thread see. There was a TFL Life Show at 3pm ET, and they confirmed that the embargo lifts, Saturday March 30 - 12:01 AM Eastern Time.
At 12:01 a written article will be published on TFL Truck with pricing, and other embargoed info, and some time later in the morning (their words), they will publish the full video review.

There is not a rear window wiper. That's gotta cut 2 grand off for sure....
Well it would, but the Gladiator has a nice slider window cut from a single piece of glass like full size trucks are using these days. That's ... expensive. ;)

Bingo. I think people keep forgetting that FCA needs to price them according to the Gladiator's segment, not to the Wrangler. Also...with all the shared components between the already mass produced Wrangler that's a big cost savings for producing the Gladiator. So I don't really look at how much it'll cost compared to the Wrangler, I look at how much it could cost compared to the Tacoma, Colorado and Ranger because at the end of the day THOSE are the competing vehicles and it will be priced accordingly.
I don't think it needs to be, nor will be, priced according to those trucks at all. Not a single one of those trucks is as big as the Gladiator nor do any of them have removable doors, removable tops, solid axles, or any of the other stuff Gladiator has that's expensive to manufacture in today's safety-driven world.

I disagree. Selling to the church of Jeep is easy. Luring fans of other brands in the segment and attracting new buyers will be the challenge that final pricing will directly influence. Sustaining sales beyond the initial release year in a increasingly crowded truck market will make pricing crucial to it's success. Producing a best in class towing mid-size truck isn't to be taken lightly but it still needs to be priced attractively enough not to drive the buying public elsewhere. We will know in less than an hour!
