Honestly, my 2003 Caravan was my wife's from her previous marriage. I bought her a 2010 RAM Big Horn because the van was getting old. The dealership was only going to give us $500 for a trade in and said if I didn't trade it in and kept it he'd take $500 of the price of the RAM. I kept it and fixed what was wrong mechanically with it, patched all the rust with putty and painted it with spray cans so it would pass inspection. At the time it had 120,000 miles on it. I used it for work and put another 270,000 miles on it. The best part, was we never paid a dime for the vehicle. Her ex-husband had to pay it off in the divorce. :) I think we got our money's worth. Best vehicle I ever owned. No power options to go bad except a/c & rear defrost which always worked and the rear wiper motor which I replaced.
my 2008 grand caravan has 230,000 on it now. pretty much just brakes, plugs, tires. KNOCK ON PLYWOOD

One of my daughters just sent me this plywood oops picture. Had to share since it’s plywood news.
That wouldn't have happened with a Gladiator and the trail tie-down system.

It's spreading to other species, like in that movie outbreak! Yikes.
We may need to update. Obvious signs of jeep to car transmission...

Jeepitis
Meaning:
When the weather is just right for a Jeep enthusiast to call out sick from their obligations in order to have a Jeep day.

Secondary Meaning:
When a new Jeep owner becomes addicted to modifying and purchasing anything Jeep related, this also is contagious as it normally spreads throughout their family members and friends.

Bonus:
If said Jeepitis occurs on April 4th National Jeep 4X4 DAY.
Hi Bob (Boss). I have been just been diagnosed with Jeepitis (cough cough) and unfortunately will have to take the day off in order to rest.

Thought I heard somewhere the tailgate is rated for over 1,000 lbs in the down position. If so, lay the tailgate down and put a 2'x6' box support on the end and lay the plywood flat on that. Problem solved.

I think the tailgate was rated higher than the payload capacity of the bed, but I get your point. Guessing the 300 lb limit is the plastic bushings for the intermediate tailgate position. Interesting that they show a 2x4 on side over the wheel well, but state that you need to put 2 2x4s (7" high) end on end towards the tailgate. So I guess a 2x6 on end (5.5") is a little short. Doubt you need the support unless you are hauling something thin or drywall that may sag. Will have to play with it once I get mine.

Whenever someone does post a picture of plywood in the bed of a Gladiator please be certain to post an up close picture showing how the drivers side front corner of the bed so everyone can see if the plywood has to rest on the gas pipe buldge or if it sits on the little lip to the right of that pipe buldge.

Turkeyboy had a good picture of a lattice sheet but we really couldn’t not see the corner in question.

@Jake is this still an issue for you? I get the plywood jokes continuing for the sake of continuing. But obviously the plywood (lattice) fits. And it fits straight. Do we really need an up close photo?
