My dealer staled that when I ordered my LE but did say that the FFP (Affiliate) pricing is good to go!
are you keeping the LE or switching to a rubicon?

good for you.
Don’t know when it will get here but it’ll be before a Granite one! I’m thinking when they start to run the LE builds those with VINs and D status will go quickly through the build process.

Prof, whatcha mean? They are not allowing employee pricing on the JT? You are talking about something other than the below invoice pricing and potential Tread Lightly discount? Is employee pricing the same as FFP discounting?
In may of 2018, FCA made changes to the EP (employee purchase) program. Which virtually eliminates friends and family. Now employees and retirees of FCA and affiliated companies must register themselves and immediate family members with the employee benefits office. Only these people are eligible for the EP program. Within the rules of this program is a list of vehicles that are not eligible. They are listed by model year from 2017 to 2020. Gladiator is the only one listed under 2020. I was told these changes were made due massive amounts of fraud by employees and dealers.

Figures, it's a new model that people are hot to get, so why would they discount it.

fanatics (like us on this forum) might clamoring to figure out a way to justify a purchase at launch, but i don't see these many of these overlands or rubicons moving after the first month or two. its been said before and i'll echo, they're $10k overpriced (despite the capability). there's no way the average car shopper is dropping $50-$60k on a mid-sized pickup when you can grab a zr2/fx4/trd off-road in the $30's.

my suspicion tells me that these trucks will have cash on the hood by end year with employee purchase reopened for 2021 (if not sooner).

None have sold at my local dealership. They keep posting them on the jeep groups and forums. They are at $1500 under invoice. Theyvhave had a couple on the lot for about a week now. Honestly think Jeep over produced and over priced the market for the JL. Now they have over priced the Gladiator for the market.

Well, as of now, my dealer says I have EP pricing. He’s also assured me that if I change my mind, he’ll be happy to put the truck on the lot and I can walk.

If I don’t get EP, then i’ll Go enjoy a nice test drive, hand him back the keys, and wait for Gobi. Or Gator. Whichever one shows up around the same time they start honoring EP again.

I really wanted a Gator, but I "settled" on a Red LE LOL. Although, I don't regret the color choice cuz the Red is all fire... For some reason the red jeeps look amazing, so can't really go wrong with Red and I used to own a Red Wrangler in the 90s :)

Personally I just can't get super excited about any of the basic colors except maybe Silver. Silver is nice, but I have a Silver Grand Cherokee now so looking to mix things up a bit. Gobi, Granite & Sting Gray were my faves, but after seeing several JLs around town in Sting Gray I'm less of a fan of that one. So still holding out for my Granite LE.

I'm just hoping that if this info below is true, and Jeep is running out of steel bumpers (and LED light kits next), it won't affect the later LE builds (i.e. Granite). I'm assuming the existing orders already have parts allotted and that's why they are running out for new orders. Maybe that will help get Granite into production sooner (if they can't make other custom orders due to lack of parts). Of course, Jeep has proven with the JT rollout that assumptions and common sense should be thrown out the door.

According to my dealer, steel bumpers are now closed out for orders...and believes LED lights will be next? Wasn’t sure what this meant but sounds like he’s familiar with this dance?

So true, the way I look at is that the Gladiator will not lure full sized truck buyers away from a full sized truck because of the price and it won't sway the customer looking at a JLU for the same reason. The dealership that I did a test drive at this past Saturday has had a Gladiator on their lot for almost 2 weeks and it's the only Jeep dealer within 50 miles that has one and it still hasn't sold.

Well I'm here in Middle Iowa, and I'm waiting on my Granite LE.

However, the dealer got a silver overland on monday, and I asked to come test it out tuesday. Got there around 5pm, it had sold half an hour before. Was on the lot for about 20 hours total. This makes me think demand is pretty high.

Sound like it depends...... some going quick, some not.

Definitely nothing to cross shop this vehicle with at its price point(s)
