Any good top removal ideas. I did this, after initial setup takes about 20 minutes (with no help) to remove and hang.

Not bad at all, once you get past the nervousness of scratching something
Here's what I do. Unscrew the top, then from the inside make it do a backwards somersault on the tonneau cover so the top is upside down. Then turn it 180 on the tonneau cover so the back of the top is now almost directly over the tailgate. Then reach over the top and manhandle it off the cover. I'm only 5-10 but it's very doable. Maybe took 10 minutes all-in. Putting a towel or blanket on the tonneau is key so you don't scratch anything!

I know this is an old post, but golly, doesn’t anyone else want to see this on video?

Haha! I would take a vid, but I don't remove the top anymore. My Sunrider made me extremely lazy

I read somewhere that the top weighs 58 lb. Seems about right. I don't plan to remove mine because the foam seals take a set and I don't want to encourage any leaking.

Exactly what I do except I get help from my munchkin wife to walk it into the garage and lay it on a carpet or blanket on the floor. It's not that heavy, but the size makes it awkward for one person to handle.

Two cheap bicycle lifts from Menards, a cheap boat winch, some pulleys - and I have a simple save-your-back one-man removal and reinstall system...........

easiest removal is putting a rack on it, remove the mounting hardware, then floor it out of your garage.

easy-peasy.

but actually, if you had a Thule/Yakima rack mounted, it would be pretty easy to hook a simple pully on the cross bars and lift. *IF* it fit under the garage door. I hate that my interior garage height is 10' 3" but my garage door is 6' 10".
