Yes, it tows quite well. I have a WD hitch and sway controller, which probably helps quite a bit. I don't have any trouble towing and have gone up and down Afton Mt. in VA, it was able to maintain 55-60mph which put me in the fast lane a few times there...I've towed it around 200 miles one way and plan to take it up to NY, which is ~450 miles.
I have more concerns with the 52 year old airstream than the Jeep.
