same boat. I think i just want black though. I feel like everyone has the silver and white. Black at least I could dress up no matter what with another color.Gonna be next year before I pull the trigger on one. Busy work season for me, Gobi and Gator not out yet, etc. We shall see what happens in the meantime. Prices could increase, I suppose. My tight azz will decide then!
Not a troll here. But Jeep has way more of a following or loyal just because buyers. I've been following the gladiator for well over a year. Like many others on this forum. The same can nOt be said about the ranger. No one cared it was coming. And most people still dont care about it.. Even hop over to the bronco forums there is way less activity then our forum had prior to gladiator release. The point is there is a huge portion of buyers who have been waiting for a long time for this truck. Artificially increasing the numbers. After we get our sales out of the way. We will see how the rest of the world thinks.Actually, it’s not this year. FCA’s plan is 100k per year total production, YoY. Also, 16k with supply shortages (steel bumpers, front cameras, etc.) and a first year launch, is very good. Compare to Ford’s Ranger US introduction of a much cheaper platform, the JT is doing just fine.
It's little weird how FCA (and others) dealers work. They actually do make some of the vehicles in a certain number and say to the dealers, in a way: take this many and sell them. It's more a push from FCA and not a pull from the customers. Certainly customer demand affects prices and if they do push too many down the dealers throats they have to discount them. Source: did a project with a dealership. So production numbers doesn't mean actual sold units right? They can produce 100k Gladiators but have 100k sitting on lots. It's still too early to tell, but at the current MSRP the Gladiators are priced little too high and we will see the prices coming down a bit. At least that's what lot of you are hoping for![]()
I would be curious to know how many early adopters of the JT are from the Jeep faithful. I understand a ton on this forum are, but that's a relatively small bubble compared to the 24k units sold. I haven't driven a Jeep since the 90s and loyalty was not my motivating factor. Not a troll here. But Jeep has way more of a following or loyal just because buyers. I can only dream we would see $Aud figures like that over here.....It doesn't help when our local dealers are adding a bunch of overpriced upgrades to Sport S units, making them the asking price of a fully loaded Rubicon. They're selling Rubicon models easily, Sport models not as quickly.

I agree on the ranger hype being low but the design is pretty much whats been offered to the European market for almost 10 years and the bronco has been teased since oh 2004? I love broncos but i feel ford might screw this one up but i hope not!Not a troll here. But Jeep has way more of a following or loyal just because buyers. I agree. I look at tons of dealer sites and they never have say aux switch group but almost always have adaptive cruise and/or safety group. I've seen zero manual transmissions and well. I guess they are trying to appeal to a certain upscale market. It doesn't help when our local dealers are adding a bunch of overpriced upgrades to Sport S units, making them the asking price of a fully loaded Rubicon.
