Why the scrap pile of course

If you go to the city, state, county sign shop and ask to poke around the scrap pile I would think you could easily get your hands on some. The best way is to talk directly with the sign makers and bypass the white collars. Bring cookies

dang-it, I don't know county sign shop people.......i'll see what I can do. I did find this though, not as good as free, but beats $300-$1200

I put a lift kit on my Gladiator today. Not a suspension lift, but hood lift.

My pet peeve. Spend $60,000 on a vehicle and the manufacturer puts a cheap hood prop rod on it. These are from Redline Tuning and took 15 minutes to install.

My pet peeve. Spend $60,000 on a vehicle and the manufacturer puts a cheap hood prop rod on it. These are from Redline Tuning and took 15 minutes to install.

i was just thinking about this with that truck burning thread. if i ever had to quick open the hood, no way i'd be able to carefully set the prop rod up. gotta get me some of these!

Wish I could help you with that, but it was just a dealer added thing for them to try and make an extra buck. I didn’t care about having it either way, but it’s there now, so it stays I guess

I got the elite. I ordered through their eBay store and didn’t know there was a plus. I don’t know the difference between the two.

Really? I kinda like the old school prop... It takes like 2 seconds... The elite is $120.00... I feel like I have other mods that take priority over this at least for me.
