Thank you, I've never had a problem with the dealership in getting warranty work so far! I will give a heads up if I run into any issues, the tick has now become intermittent so It will probably be hard to diagnose until it becomes sustained again.
Another nice thing about MBI is that GEICO doesn’t care about mods. That, and I just learned that if you break your windshield its only a $50 deductible if you have the MBI. I now have it on my of my Jeeps.
Huh, I didn't understand the glass coverage, my insurance covers glass with zero deductable, and it's considered comprehensive so it doesn't change the dates. Trust me they bought 3 windshields for my JKSo extend or not. that age old question. the sales guy naa he's not going to strong arm you. the finance guy on the other hand. he's the closer. I chose not to. but I did buy the glass coverage for 499. and am happy I did. 28 @#$%&^ miles after delivery I caught a rock in the windscreen.. (covered)

The only way to get the fine print is to get the contract which means you need to be to the point of signing on the dotted line. I was able to get a sample contract from 2018 that is a 7/100k coverage. But things shouldn't have changed that much
But, there are numerous warranty companies with varying degrees of customer satisfaction. the dealership typically makes 50% of the sales price of the warranty as I found out both from being a sales person being pressured to sell warranty's and when I was lied to about the sales price of the extended warranty from the dealer on my JT. When I cashed it in within the 30 day buyers remorse clause, half came from the dealer and the other half from the Warranty company. I was quoted the price for the tire and wheel warranty and it was quite different from the Bumper to Bumper warranty price I was billed for, and it didn't really cover anything more than the manufacturers warranty, it just went a little longer.I will not have this truck past the original warranty from the FCA jeep. But once again, thats me. Some people love them and use them, My JT sits in the garage until its time to play. No walmart grocery store, or town trips and definitely no mall krawling,,,,,,ever. I'l probably put 5k miles on it a year. At the end of 5 years, I'll get a new truck or car to replace it. I'll see where the market is and the newest technology is. Good luck.
Who ever buys it will be lucky. 5 years and low mileage, depending on your asking price at the time I’d be saying “damn, shame he’s so far away”
just made it a moot point, went with a 10yr/100k bumper to bumper extended warranty for about $1500
