Were they straight forward to install? How much?
I bought them from 4WHeel parts on Black Friday for 1600. They also had a 50%of labor deal so additional $300 for installation. I was told they were difficult to install by store. I was the first gladiator they installed the AMP research steps on so it took them all day to put them on.

Completed mechanical install of OEM steel bumper and Warn Zeon 10S winch. Electrical and install rope left to go.

Got winch off craigslist.com. $500 and came with optional Mopar winch hoop. Added Rock Hard winch plate and fairlead adapter for $200. So, $700 spent for $1898 (QTec prices) in equivalent Mopar parts.

Install is a pain compared to the Shrockworks bumper on my JK. But, no drilling/grinding required (though Rock Hard warns with my winch it is very close and some installs may actually require grinding). Very happy with the results.

What are your thoughts on the Hard Rock Winch Plate?
I've been looking for the Mopar winch plate and it seems to be out of stock in the places I have looked...
The Plate you installed appears to be well made, but I haven't found any reviews...
Thanks in advance...

It seems to be quite strong and well designed. Fit with the Zeon series winches is quite tight. As I alluded, Rock Hard does warn it probably shouldn't, but may require a bit of grinding. I'm still puzzling out the skid plate/air dam that I removed along with the plastic bumper. Apparently that doesn't work with the steel bumper. Go figure. Not sure how having the Rock Hard winch plate will affect that. Was reading a thread here last night and it had a lot of contradictory statements as to what parts fit and work, etc.

Added some NFAB Podium nerf steps. Fit a little tighter to the body that I wanted, but they are nice and solid, with plenty of beef to them so that they don't look undersized. Feel like even if I bashed them around a little on some trails that they'd hold up ok. pretty happy with them.

Appreciate the feedback...

And you are correct, the lower skid plate off the plastic bumper will not fit the Mopar Steel bumper.
It's a different setup and design. *Steel vs Plastic.

You'll need to pick up the Mopar steel skid plate and brackets to install it on your JT...

From the video I watched, there shouldn't be an issue with the Winch plate the Steel skid plate...

I ordered the Hard Rock plate... Thanks!

Err, uh, come again... you did what? And exactly how, pray tell, did you do such a thing?

Has got to be a "hold my beer" moment.

Please don't misunderstand: I wasn't making light of your situation at all.

I have them on my F-350 and love them.
Do you have any concerns about banging them on rocks etc? I’m trying to decide if the convenience will outweigh the possible rock issues because I’m not planning on doing any rock crawling but....
