Haven't tried it yet with mine, but was super excited when I saw how easy it is to do this on the JL/JT. I even bought the tie downs the day I got the jeep just to be ready.

Cool, yeah it’s awesome. I haven’t used tiedowns as I was afraid that it would tweak on the windshield. I’ve just let it rest on the rubber bumpers and it doesn’t really seem to bounce much. I’d be curious if others think tying it down is the way to go. I thought having the flex might be safer

Placed some welting in between the body and fenders. I was so tired of digging out damn Norway spruce needles getting lodged in the crevice. Per another member suggestion on here, Ordered some Trim-Lok rubber tubing. Should do the trick.

I have the same issue where did you get the welting rubber material from?

I plan on taking mine on the road with the windshield down, so I think I need to I remember seeing somewhere over 30 MPH maybe it was needed?

Installed LED DRL and Amber fender lights... before and after ... first side easy ... when installing passenger side DRL LED I got no light... reinstalled stock bulb and still no light... started looking at fuse panel ... decided to shut everything off and restart truck and lights .. "reboot" ... worked with no more problems ... link to Amazon

We got like 6 inches of snow last night, I drove through part of it, to whoever a few pages back asked about snow build up on grill inserts, I haven't had any issues thus far..... Now Dory with her aerodynamic nose, it's always caked on.
