I see what you have tucked back in there....
How often do you take your GT3 RS out @smlobx ? I remember driving one of my friend's GT3 RS and when I got out of the car I felt like, if I owned this car, in all probability I am going to die in it! LOL :CWL:

Made the rubi bumper a stubby...changes the look and best part it’s free! Even taught the daughter a couple 5 dollar words in the process! Why in the world were some of the bolts so ignorant to get out?!?!?! Lol

I only take it out on perfect days and manage to put about 2500 miles a year on it.

installed the Wife steps today! Any votes on installing the driver (unnecessary) side?

Install it, so you’ve got a handy boot scraper for excess mud.

Finished the second coat and tore down the masking, didnt want tape drying up in the edges. Cutting and sanding on the Jeep did not make me nervous, drilling did not make me nervous....but I was terrified while carefully removing the masking making sure it was not drooping on the exterior paint! For the cost of Raptor ($60) I am completely happy with the end result. Time will tell how it holds up.

Covered my licence plate lights with red tape so I can see thru the rear camera when I'm backing up at night
so that's why its hard to see through it at night, the license plate lights blinding the camera?

In my case it's the mud and dirt and snow on the tailgate.............. need to run a windshield washer hose and nozzle back there.

Make a circuit that uses a relay controlled by the reverse lights that turns off the license plate lights when the vehicle is put into reverse.
please post how to when you do that! sounds like a great idea.

Installed the CB Bar and Cobra CB 79 Max CB radio, as well as the AVS bug deflector with lightshield.

Well, they expect you to hook it into your parking lights not your headlights... Is DRL same as parking lights? So, it won't be turned on all the time. Idk if it is legal or not, I'll let you know if I get pulled over :CWL:

Standard Bosch type relay should be doable - the backup lights operate the coil, opening the (EDIT: should read NC, not NO) contacts and run the license plate light through the contacts.
Hmmmm....... sounds like something I need to rig up.

used to call them position marker lights - the intent was to show what direction a vehicle was facing when off road, sitting, parked, etc. so red to the rear, amber to the front.
It's not legal to show red to the front so I'd think as long as you have amber up front, ok.
It's not legal in Iowa to drive with only "parking lights" or marker lights on. Many do it because they think it's cool - or helpful, but you can be ticketed for it.
You must have headlights on when on the road, or all lights off when on the road. Parking/marker lights only when stopped or not on the road.

They are amber not red... so it should be fine

Thank you, and sure thing. I stored my hard top in it today while driving around for work stuff. I was not the easiest on it either. I was removing it solo so i slid it around the bed quite a bit and the liner was undamaged (top undamaged too) for what that is worth. I will throw an update out once I start using it, have a few home projects coming up involving a small load of loose gravel and wood which should test it a bit too.
