What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Deleted member 24880

It is. I had a place not too far from me do the mount up. This is only the second Gladiator they did and worked a lot of custom brackets to get it to work. I'll have some more shots in the coming week. Right now I'm having wheels and tires mounted up, a leveling kit, and some more lighting added.

At this rate it won't snow up here for the next 5 years. My apologies to all that love it.

Here's a shot with the first one they mounted up. I ended up with the wings.

Also a shot of the wheels.

I have not read this thread for 2 weeks......20 pages later I had to laugh. Some people are mounting kayaks, others UTV V plows. NICE!

Those don’t look convenient if you need to slide something in the bed...
I braided 3 -48” shock cords and clipped them to the tie downs. You can slide any long item between the cords to prevent it rolling around on its own and ending up out of reach at the cab end. Easily removed and you always have a shock cord handy. Picture is with the recently installed Smartliner.

Cool idea, i'm going to try this I think.

I don’t know if it would work with narrower Velcro band than the one I used and allow the bands to swivel and hide/fix in the slot when you want to slide stuff... or just a long Velcro band from one screw to the other and another Velcro band on the brush!!!

But, no matter if you go with the tailgate or the sides, please post you final result here or in the snow brush thread!

There's a snow brush thread? i gotta find that! i got the best snow brush around!

Whelp, I used to jump/ hop out. And now, I place my right heel on it and it help step down. If you have any arthritis in your knee you might feel it a little bit it eases the step for sure. And getting in is left foot and a handle, a lot easier the the jump it was. But I didn’t mind jumping up to the seat either.
I started a whole thread on techniques to get into/out of the JT. It was entertaining.

Got my FireStik mounted up along with the FM/CB splitter. Radio comes in great and should have my Uniden CMX760 delivered in the upcoming days. One antenna for both is nice!

Is that the 18" rack? Is it possible to mount raised cross bars up there? I need to mount SUPs so i need to clear the roof, especially if the boards are in their bags, I don't want the loose bags slapping the roof

:CWL:

It’s actually a disaster on the other side. We’re closing on a house in a week, so there’s a million boxes. Organized chaos!

You can mount anything you want up there .
It is the 18", but with the bed cover adapter it's actually 20"
