Installed my GPCA grab handles, hard-wired the radar detector, and installed the HAM radio and antenna. Head is mounted on a CMM bolt and RAM mount. I don't like the current location of the base, thinking of putting it behind the rear driver seat, but need to measure if the control cables will reach from there.

Installed my Bed Rug this morning. Most difficult part was realizing I didn’t have any rubbing alcohol to clean the bed with during this virus hysteria! I got the last pack of alcohol wipes after my fourth visit to a store.

But, super impressed with the quality and fit. Side (unexpected) bonus is the thickness of the material on the tailgate makes a much tighter fit with my tonneau cover’s weather stripping resulting in a near impossible pop without opening the tailgate. Feels much more secure.

Just got an email that mine has shipped. Yours looks really good.

Just installed demon angel eyes. Had to make brackets for them to fit the bumper.

Also bumper bull bar, rear tire mount and roof rack. Wanted something a little more mellow for the roof.

I'm familiar with Ram Mounts, but what is a CMM bolt? And, if this is a needed question, how is your Ram mount held up in the air? I've been using a windshield suction cup mount, but would prefer something lower down to hold my Nexus 7 for topo mapping.

I love the idea of those mounts but I can't get over how much of a projectile anything attached to it would become if that airbag goes off.

Also, if you're looking for a base unit install solution, this is my game plan... not cheap but I like that it's a bolt-on solution since I don't have a garage to do proper work.

Picked my JT sport up from the shop yesterday, had it regeared to 5.13 and the RK pro x rear cradle installed/welded and control arms replaced (shop accidentally ordered x-factor kit the first time).

Notes on regear:
I have the 6 speed/manual transmission, which unfortunately comes geared at 3.73, the difference is AMAZING when running 37s/beadlocks. 5th Was barely usable, 6th was completely unusable With 37s (before the regear), even before replacing the tires it felt like there was no power with all the hills here in TN. AFTER the regear, it’s like a completely new truck and has restored faith in the manual transmission. I now have power through all gears, I’ll say 1st is a bit short but I’d much prefer that to the former configuration lol I’m seeing an increase in MPG, but will really need to drive it more before I can stand by that lol

difference between xfactor vs pro x:
major increase in ride quality on road. Rear feels like it articulates more consistently with the front, so it just feels much smoother/softer. Gotta break in The new gears and do a diff fluid flush after 500 miles before I take it wheeling again, but really excited to see the difference off-road.

overall I couldn’t be happier with the current setup. In the future, I’ll be addIng an ARB Twin compressor for tires, then adding arb air lockers shortly after that!

What’s your first impressions on the bed mount for spare?
