There's a reason I put going SLOW on trails/offroad lol. I'm not a fan of ballistic bugs or debris.

Nice, but noob question:

What's the point of having the windshield down normally? Is it just for the breeze on trails/offroad when going slow? Is it to hear a spotter better? Just personal preference?
Hog hunting without putting holes in my windshield....

Finally got into the woods today!
So stoked on how well this Jeep does off-road. Found some thick deep mud, dropped it into 4L and rear locker, hit 'R' and it pulled itself out without any pedal input at all. Can't wait for actual tires with some flotation!

Well, this was yesterday, but made my own headliners. Made them front and back. Cost for materials was around $30 (foil backed foam board, fabric, spray adhesive and new utility knife). I already has a large roll of double sided tape! Turned out pretty well, we'll see how much of a difference they make once this rainy weather turns back into sweltering heat!

Once again, it's been a while since I posted any of the things I've done to my Gladiator, so here's a long recap...

Added the MOPAR hood blackout decal:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 24CBFAA5-7E71-4ED3-81F6-02069FD065CD

It's nice, and went on pretty easily, but I'm not crazy about how much gap there is around the bump-stops. (Should have gone with PixelDecals!)
Makes a HUGE difference in glare. These shots aren't the greatest comparison, but gives you a sense of how much the decal diffuses the reflection compared to sunlight bouncing off the paint:

Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] 3F09E603-36ED-40DE-8869-B1E9599DA670

Hard to see here, but you get a glow off the decal instead of an eye-searing laser beam off the paint.

Installed the BuiltRight molle panel on the front wall of the bed:

Install was quick and easy, the longest part was unscrewing the tie-downs and screwing them back in again. Rest was a piece of cake. I also installed a set of QuickFists with the BuiltRight risers - you can see step one of that installation in progress above, and here:

and step two:
Jeep Gladiator What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK] BF22A8E9-DF47-4766-B3D1-AC91E66926F1

This was also dead simple, but if you can do this before you install your molle panel it will save you some contortions trying to hold that bolt on the back side of the panel while you screw on the nut. I thought about taking th emile panned back off again to attache the QuickFist, but more time and effort than it was worth.

Finished product, with Hi-lift and base attached, all fitting nicely underneath the tonneau. Bolted the jack base to the jack with additional hardware from L***s'

Closeup of QuickFist fitted around jack column - tight, but it latches with a good stretch and a thumb jab:

All works like a charm. Rock solid, and not a squeak or a rattle while on the trail.

Added a pair of Rigid 360 driving lights to the front bumper:

...and then, because it's Virginia and they're getting sticky about it at annual Safety Inspections, covered them with the Rigid covers

And the last big modification was installation of the MetalCloak FAD skid cover and RockSport Steering Stabilizer Kit that relocates the stabilizer above the tie-rod.

Getting ready to install rear control arm and shock skids from HardRock (waiting on the spacers that were left out of the box), and the FabFours Overland Rack is scheduled to be delivered today!

And finally...Enjoying the fruits of labor with our HitchTent rig

HitchTent rig?
https://rubiconep.com/hitch-tent-rack-system

It's a platform with adjustable legs that rides on a hitch adapter. You bolt your RTT to the platform and it rides vertically. At the camp site you extend the legs, fold the platform down from the vertical and detach it from the hitch. You get the advantages of a RTT without having to keep it on your roof (or bed rack) - you can set it up and drive away.

That is pretty dang neat! Is there much drag while driving with it like that?

Added the Nuthouse Industries aluminum bed slide. This thing is a beast. Full extension, weighs under 150 pounds, and about $325 less expensive that the CargoGlide.

The small piece bolted to the middle of the slide platform is a bracket to attach ARB elements fridge tie-downs, fully removable for when I need a flat surface.

EAG doors ($409 from vicious) and decals. The red and black rubicon-like stickers I wanted got effed up.

Upgraded my stock incandescent taillights to the factory LED units. Used the Tazer to change to LED so everything flashes correctly.

was that simply plug and play, then change to LED setting? Where did you get the lights?
