Today’s work:

Swapped the Trail Rated badge for the Mopar badge that came with my lift kit, because I prefer the black:

Couldn’t stand the Auto Stop so I had to put an end to needing to remember to turn it off:

I like the covered latch look:

Edit: Amazon just delivered my spare tire cable lock, so I added that too. Piece of mind security when you have a matching wheel and tire spare:

Swapped in some LED headlight bulbs. It’s a temporary solution for now and will eventually swap to full LED light and housing, but it was driving me crazy having halogen headlights with LED fogs that came with my recently acquired Mopar steel bumper.

Installed the MetalCloak leveling kit today. The tech said the track bar was a bitch but not bad other than that. It’s a 2.5 inch kit and they added 1/2 teraflex spacers in the back to keep it leveling. I didn’t do a full lift because I have 33s. I’m happy with the tires, power and mpg.
I like it so far.

Nice! Did you replace the front driveshaft? If not, do you think you will need to in the future?

Installed the Red Line Tuning hydraulic hood struts. They work great, highly recommend.

I installed a set on my JT as well - I second that recommendation. Quick install, uses existing holes and no more prop rod in my way!

You should not need to replace the drive shaft with 2.5”. I believe it’s only need for 3” or greater due to the amount of flex you receive from their 3.5” GC. There’s some more accurate information out there posted by @WhatExit? in another thread. I just don’t recall where it is at.

Installed my hothead headliners but managed to scratch the Jeep in the process of putting the rear hardtop by myself. There are several videos on YouTube showing one person removal but not a one person put back.

Anyways it’s installed, and I used rubbing compound to remove the scratch. I’m never messing with the hardtop again unless I have an assist.

Geez, that’s a nice scratch! I was barely able to take mine off and put it on by myself and I’m 6’5 with monkey arms haha Now that my JT is lifted it will be me and the wife from now on.

Hmm, same 6'5" and monkey arms too, guess I'm going to hold off taking off the roof until I rig something up.
