Threw on some 1.5” spacers and finally aligned it after changing the suspension over.
Can’t wait to try this thing out at Southington Offroad park here in Ohio this weekend.

Dv8 Offroad SRGL02. It’s a hybrid step slider. I’m really tall and do not need a step. However my wife is short and does. Not a fan of must steps as they hang down to far and hit my leg on them getting in. These are high enough to where I don’t. Can rest my foot on it without the doors and they look nice.

Going to replace the hardware with black bolts eventually. I’ve only seen one bad review about them rusting after a month. I’ve yet to have a problem and mine have been muddy or dirty without being clean and they still look new. I’ve had them on since I bought the gladiator. The powder coating and welds were all great to me and high grade install hardware. Had to tap out two holes a tiny bit but outside of that they bolted right up.

Got my redline hood struts installed. Also installed the CMM 20mm dash mount and Bulletproof phone mount. Works great and the quality is definitely there. Last but not least, finally got my wheels and tires mounted. Icon Rebounds with 35x12.5 Yokohama Geolandar XATs. Love the look. Here's a before vs after.

Traded my '16 Wrangler in on my Gladiator. It had brand new Cooper ATV3's on it and my new Gladiator came with black steel stamped wheels. So on trade-in, swapped the black steel stamped for the Wrangler alloys with the Coopers'.

When I got it home I installed Mopar Rubicon rock rails, Quadratec Gen II LED's, Quadratec 16" high performance stubby antenna , Rugged Ridge bed cover, and a Dee-Zee truck bed mat, and topped it off with Quadratec, all-weather front floor liners.

This is the 5th jeep I've owned in my lifetime and I have to say the best.

Got a few bolt ons done. I told myself I won’t touch the suspension until i have the complete kit for moving up to 37’s. But I found a couple loopholes in that!

Took it on a midnight run to try and catch the Aurora. Did it stock and it was plenty capable, but it did crash on potholes, and the swaybar disconnect makes for a plush ride, but the 18mph lockout is an annoyance to cruse trail roads.

Additionally, I have a locker and a 6speed. So the ability to lock the rear in 2wd, and hoss around was a big desire. The pentastar is a hoot when you get to just let the revs out. Also the borla and the intake make for epic noises.

So that trail drive was a good confirmation of the parts I had on order and got installed today and got nice and muddy for.

Terraflex Progressive Bump Stops - I did this easily without touching a single bolt in about 10min vs the directions 2hr process. Just jacked up and popped out.

This thing is a beast now! Steering is sharper and stays where you direct it on the highway or on the trail. The bumpstops genuinely transform the comfort and stability when bucking whoops or smashing washout or potholes. And being able to turn off all the nannies, lock it up and dump the clutch and point it sideways with a stupid grin plastered on is awesome. It’s a riot.

Oh! It also was its 1941 milestone for its muddy break in. Of course I took the pic tho at 1942...

Ive always been a little curious about these. Any good for daily driver/tower? Or really just frame protection while wheeling?

For towing or hauling it would be of benefit especially if you carry a heavy load. As those are times you notice the bump stops. For the money, it was worth it if you ever hit your bump stop at least occasionally. The rears are super easy as they are in the open. The fronts, should also be able to pop in like I did, but YMMV depending if the sport or max tow coil spacing is tighter.

Regardless, its a pretty simple mod for noticed improvement.

@Wicknalter do you have a side profile pic of the rockers? Really interested in getting some but I find it a little annoying that most don’t extend all the way to the rear fender, they usually stop a few inches before.

Which size flaps did you choose and how did you? I am rolling stock right now but considering the typical 35x12.5 upgrade. Not sure which way to go.

All I did was install the Mopar Locking Gas Cap. Parking overnight on the urban streets it give me a peace of mind well worth the cost. I also setup the security hood monitoring with the Zautomotive Tazer!

Plus my NEST guardian watching from above ;-)

I ordered the original size as I wanted them to be discrete. I think they look great. The thing I like the best is that they don’t poke past the fender. As far as actual functionality coverage wise I won’t know until I hit the trails or it rains but I know it’s 10 time better than without them. Im running 35x12.5 as well so I’ll let you know when I know.

they stop right before the rear fender. You wouldn’t want them under the fender in case of it bending when going over rocks. There is a method to there madness.

Once we have some light I’ll take some pictures.

I'm not the person that you asked, but I went with the XL Original size for my 35x12.50R17 tires at stock height. Perfect fit for me.
