Hey All,

New guy here that is about to take delivery of my brand new ‘21 Mojave. She’s in transit now and I’m considering an upgrade to 35” tires while maintaining the factory FOX suspension.

What I want to achieve:
  • Meatier looking tires
  • A little bit more ground clearance
  • Keep the cool suspension I paid for
  • Avoid any rubbing, even at full flex
  • Stick with an AT tire, if possible, due to snow
Options I’m considering:
  1. Nitto Trail Grappler 35x11.5R17 tires only on stock Mojave wheels - ~$1600
  2. Gladiator specific AEV Savegre II with 35x12.5R17 BFG KO2 - ~$2900
  3. Nothing - leave it alone it looks nice as it is. - $free
Open to other tire choices as well, but to get the most out of the stock suspension/clearances.

Also does anyone have a nice before/after picture of 33 to 35 with no lift to compare?

Thanks in advance!

I am running 35x12.50R-17 Falken Wildpeak MTs on my stock Mojave. No tire rub at all, and have about 2800 off road miles on it so far, out of the total 4900 miles on the odometer.

Well that is encouraging that the 12.5" tire width plays. So sounds like the additional 1" of height at the front and 1" of track might be beneficial. Kinda torn on the rim part since there's nothing wrong with mine....but the AEV rims are soooo cool.

35's are an easy fit on the Mojave, being the tallest suspension trim level available. It sits 1 inch taller in the front than a Rubicon, which also clears 35's.

I ordered 37x12.5 for my Mojave. A few others have also fit them on stock suspension Mojave's without rubbing. I have the tires, just waiting on my custom wheels to get built.

Can’t imagine how gutless it must be with 37s, I have 34s and the power loss is pretty noticeable

Mines has lose no power on 35's but I got a Max tow. I'm still getting 18.5 MPGs, if I can average 17 on 37's I'll be happy. I feel like I can achieve that.

Same here, max tow, 4.10s, for me there was a noticeable difference between the stock 245/75/17 and the 285/75/17 I switched to.

To the OP, you can’t lose. You could drive it away stock or you could throw on the wheels and tires for that custom touch. If you feel strongly about those wheels, strongly encourage you just to jump in.

i havent seen it but have little doubt 37’s will fit given suspension specs. My question to the mojave crew is do you have any concern about running the stock bump stops on 37 inch rubber. The last thing you’d want to do is go big on the rubber just to have an untimely whoops on the woops.
