Add me to the list of guys who’s wife wants me to get the JT. She almost demands I wait for the JT. Then again if I’m waiting I’m not spending money so that might be her motive.

My wife is mad that I haven't bought a JL yet, because we're burning money on my POS WK. I'm trying to wait for the JT, but the force is weakening in me.

Must. Be. Strong.

Seems like I gotta at least wait for a timeline on a diesel. If only because it's in my signature on here.

I've always wanted a truck and a diesel. Owned three jeeps in my life. This will be everything I've always wanted. Waited my whole life so far, but I have the feeling this last year+ is gonna be an uphill battle.

I own a '97 TJ, which I bought new and have given to my son (OK so my son owns it).

I had a KJ CRD until the economy sh!t the bed and Chrysler Financial demanded it back.

I am currently driving an '08 WK CRD, which is a friggin lemon, not a Wrangler type vehicle, and simply needs to go.

I really love the torque & power of these diesels, and with Mtn Biking, Skiing, Camping, dogs and other crap, I am really stoked about a JT Rubicon Ecodiesel.

This is killing me though.

I tried the JL move. Wife said I’ll regret not having a pickup. She’s right. So I wait and wait.
Sounds like our wives are similar. I was looking heavily at a JL Sport to hold me over for the next few years but my wife said the same thing. I will end up regretting it when the truck comes out and not have the money saved since I spent it on the JL to get the truck. Especially true since we don't know the pricing yet but we can all assume its going to be more expensive than the JLU. This forum is what is keeping me going. It is going to be a long, long year.

Yeah.... no kidding. I’m just hoping that they will have the diesel available on the JT right away. I don’t wanna have to wait for that too.

Here's how I'm going to get them back for making us wait....

The extra time will allow me to save up and pay cash. But....there are many incentives to be had when "financing".

So I'm going to make their best dealio and use their "financing". Then, the very next day I'm going to pay it off in full.

Suckas!

Just to kind of compare....I priced out a GMC Canyon with diesel, off-road package(whatever that means, right?).

I didn't add anything for extras except premium paint ($400). All they offer with the diesel is black or white.

Total came to $42,500 or so.

Add $10k and you'll probably be close for a JT.
