I wasn't feeling the rotopax containers with the cargo rack hole locations so I drilled my own holes to make it vertical. The second picture was the old location.

What hinge steps are those? Are they made for the JL? Any issues with fitment?

275 Amp Battery/winch Disconnect switch. Battery Disconnect

I don’t have the Aux switches, so I figured the Disconnect Switch was a fool-proof way to safely isolate the circuit. It is rated for 275A continuous, 455A Intermittent, and 1250A momentarily. I just drilled 2 holes in the engine sound cover, and mounted it adjacent to the battery. Yes, I have to open the hood to supply power to the winch, and I’m okay with that.
I need to wire up a winch disconnect myself. The EVO 10-S draws over 350 amps at max draw. Have you had, or do you anticipate, any issues with the switch?

“Well, my brother is an electrician, and he’s got a bitching set of tools...”
Seriously, he said the intermittent rating of 455 Amp would withstand the load.
I had to put larger connectors on the #4 wire supplied with the winch. It just had 5/16” lugs on the ends, and the New switch had 3/8” studs.
So, that gives me confidence in its capability.

Thanks for the write-up.

I noticed you have Rigid side-shooters, which one puts out more light to the side?
Good question! I went into the garage and placed a cardboard cut out over the Rigid’s so only the SS could be seen. I would say the SS have bolder, warmer, and brighter LEDs. Having them mounted on the windshield, they point ahead of the vehicle and out toward the sides of the road in front of you.

The Lucid VSL are a cooler, more white light that illuminate out and around the side of the vehicle. The Lucid’s would be better in tighter spaces and act more like rock rights.

Honestly, I’ll probably get more use out of the Rigid-ss, but I like the Lucid’s as well. While both shoot light to the side, they are really different in their own way.

Hope this is helps!

Installed the Flowmaster dual exhaust.
very simple and straightforward. Only problem was the crap screws for the tip clamps. Wound up using AN -4 bolts after the first one snapped. Sound is throaty without being obnoxious (our JK has an obnoxious exhaust) no drone and if you like the look of a split, side exit exhaust, I recommend it.

Got the lift installed this weekend. Decided to go Evo 2.5 Enforcer Overland stage 1 Plus W/Evo Spec King Shocks. I know long name but that how its listed. Install was pretty straight forward and instructions very clear. Also did Method 305 wheels with 37/12.5/17 KM3 Tires. Really like how it looks.

Nice carpeted bed divider! You would think someone would sell these. I painted my 2x6 black to make it look better.

Nice truck! I did the EVO 2.5 also and love it. I was surprised how well it fit my 38 x 13.5 Nittos.

Nice picture. Yours looks nice as well. Really recommend those King Shocks. Hoping to go on an offroad trip soon to get some better pictures.

Metalcloak HD steering upgrade. I installed the Raptor Series track bar a while back and the hi-jack bed mount before that.

@ruscopin
Did you just unbolt the top and pivot it onto you bed cover?

I'm getting ready to do a Hothead Headliner on my JT, I have a Diamondback Tonneau Cover and was thinking of doing just like you did so I won't get fiberglass sanding dust in the interior.
There isn't a ton of dust as we only recommend "scuffing" with the supplied sand paper, not "sanding." Here's a video tutorial on how we clean the dust from prepping/scuffing. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or me directly.
