Don't overthink it. I just throw a Costco beach blanket over the tailgate and go. Don't tie it down unless I am hitting chunky roads.

I have a Hollywood bike rack from Amazon that I have had for about 4 years. It’s been great. It will hold four bikes but divided in half so I usually only use the two bike portion you see in the photo.

Now that I have the gladiator, I bought the tailgate cover that holds two bikes. I use this as my daily rack now and use the Hollywood rack when I’m packing my whole families bikes.

The smaller tailgate cover is nice because rot doesn’t interfere with the reverse camera. So I can see behind me perfectly with my bike mounted. It’s a plus.

In the bed. I also have a swing away for when I'm camping and have the tent on top.

Looks like you took those front wheels off. What’s your fork attached to? Looks sweet

Forgot to mention I have a Yakima Backswing that I use in combination with the 1-Up while not towing. Allows me to drop the tailgate and get into the bed if needed.

not OP but i am considering using this kind of solution (in TRail rail system)
Option 1 or Option 2
Depends on your fork.
Always you can check cheaper solutions

Hi - look like you have a fork mount on the accessory track? I'm in MN too and would like to copy your set up. How are you doing this?

Yep, I mounted a fork mount to the trail rail system. I picked up some channel nuts and bolts and attached the fork mount to the trail rail system.

I started out with the Kuat NV2 that I had on my FoST. It was a 1 1/4 hitch so I needed a 2 in adapter and it ended up sticking out too far.

So I added the KB Voodoo High Rise system and 2 Yakima High Roads racks. Much better and easier for me.

Thanks - any chance you can post a link for purchase? Did you buy something off the shelf like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HYJK7KT/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3Y1QUTQCENUC&psc=1

Or did you jerry rig something (apologies to people named Jerry...).

PS - looking forward to the snow today!! Hopefully my last snowstorm pulling people out of ditches with my rover - my JTR is supposed to arrive 12/28!!!

How is it lifting the bikes up onto the rack? Easy enough?
