Help me decide to go 35s or not on Mojave!

Same here, max tow, 4.10s, for me there was a noticeable difference between the stock 245/75/17 and the 285/75/17 I switched to.

Wow, not sure why. I immediately regretted not getting 37's after a week. Rode to the virginia mountains to pick up my Rubi Rails second weeks of ownership and averaged 20 MPGs on that trip.

I drove it 3500 miles on the stock tires so I was pretty used to how it drove and which gear it was in. Held 8th a lot better with stock tires on the highway.

I wanted 35x11.50r17’s but everything was on backorder. Went 285/75r17 and am happy.

Mine holds 8th gear, I drove mine for 400 miles before adding the tires, and most of that was one trip on the Hwy. I guess some just have different experiences. Mine stays in 8th unless I hit a real steep incline. Did you reprogram for the tires, if not your shift points might not be correct

Just ordered a set of rims with 35x12x17 tires
Gonna install the RC 2.5" leveling kit on front & 0,75 out back

Do it! These trucks seem just right on 35s with both looks and performance. Helps with 4:10 gears, which I assume the Mojave has. They actually fit my stock Sport MaxTow without rubbing on street, but had that stuffed-in-there look that would have rubbed for sure flexed-out. Mopar 2.5” lift was more like 4” and had enough room for 38s! Wouldn’t recommend that though unless you enjoy breaking stuff and the performance of a dump truck. ?

I bought the Mojave because I wanted to keep it as stock as possible. I’ll be upgrading to 35s soon. Other than that, new bumpers, winch, and possibly some kind of bed shell will be my remaining mods. I don’t want to regear and the only way I’d do 37s is with a 4.88 regear at least.

Don't forget to look at weight of the tire as well. The power loss is very real on my JTR going from the Wildpeak A/T to the Nittos 35s as the engine is keeping much higher revs in all situations be it driving 75 or accelerating to compensate. If you are not going fast in the desert I guess it doesn't matter anyways. Averaging 13.5MPGs right now. I can only get over 15 if I don't go over 55MPH

Do the 35s. I had my Mojave delivered with 35s on stock wheels. I've had no rubbing issues and the power feels fine on the highway. I think it should have come standard from the factory with 35s.

Having 35x11.50r17 Nitto Trail Grapplers mounted this morning. I’ll post some comparison pics when it’s finished. Here are a few. I really like the stance and look.

I really like how AT’s ride, however after a couple of months I wanted a more aggressive look with capability in the Georgia clay.
