Curious how many of us would have bought a Gladiator with a 392 Hemi

Would you have purchased your Gladiator with a 392 Hemi if it had been available for $10k more

I definitely would as it would be cheaper than doing it myself. A year in on my 6.4L and still truck in’!

Not for me. If the Hemi was an option I would still have bought the diesel.

Seeing that a JT with a Hemi will be upwards of $75,000 like the Rubicon 392 will be, ya might as well get a TRX.

It'll never happen, especially now that Stellantis is killing SRT. But if they did offer a V8 in the JT I'd be in line to order tomorrow.

It’s kinda hard to believe that a 392 gladiator price is going to come in well over the price of the base corvette.

While it’s not like comparing apples to apples it’s just hard for me to believe they can create a corvette, with those looks and power for a lot less than a v8 gladiator.

I paid 40 for my max tow, just couldn’t justify twice the price just to have the umff of a V8...

And what about a small v8, like a 4.7, they shouldn’t have to do much else to the rest of it. Subtract the price of the Pentastar to the V8, is it really that much?

The mustang GT isn’t THAT much more than the v6 version, why can’t we get an option like that?

A new Mustang doesn't offer a V6: just the 5.0 V8 & 2.3 EcoBoost.
The EcoBoost is a bit disappointing for a Mustang.

That’s right, they have the ecoboosts now. But either way... why not have a reasonable engine upgrade option? Some will say they do, the Diesel, but I’m not interested in a diesel...

Nah. I would love it, but I wouldn't drop the extra money on it. If I still have this truck when the motor dies then sure may as well add a hemi at that point. But up front, no.

I Just read about this. I have had the get-a v8-swap itch since I first saw the 392 JL. I would order one ASAP if they dropped one in a JT.

Think about the small gas tank, as well. H2's have 33 gallon tanks, yes $100 fills were a drag, but at least there were 300 miles between them. 200 miles to empty? NO THANKS.

SERIOUSLY!!!!!

With all the current posts complaining about getting 13-17mpg, it would go nuts when people start getting Hummer H2 numbers like 8-12 mpg.

I think there is a lot of BS talk that "people want it" but in reality not as many units would really sell as people think.

Ahhhh, no. The 4L has some good qualities but I definitely wouldn't want a new vehicle its limitations. Revvy V6's are fun!

I want the 4.0 six cylinder back, please.
