Stripped off the RTT...

And starting a RTT trailer.

I want some performance back! And an enclosed cargo bed. And for some summer roadtrips that are planned, a lot more gear was gonna be needed, and a trailer was inevitable.

This trailer will be built on the cheap. So far, including the trailer, rack and RTT and the planned big tires and a bunch of other things, only in $2500. And its permanent tabbed as its under a ton so one of those build it and not worry about it. I got tons of gear to reuse.

And the swap of the rack and such only took 45min by myself all buttoned up. So its a pretty easy thing to change around.


So, back to the Jeep, I need a Soft-Topper. Hopefully a sales comes through in the next month or two.

Installed my JCR inside Molle Panel
Great for the mounting for the element fire extinguisher and just threw the dog bags up there for now. I will do the passenger side as well when I have more funds for it

Rebuilt completely the 2 harness into 1 from Baja design, cutting relays, deleting switch buttons, eliminating deviations, simplifying the cord to finally installing some new lights. I think I just got my graduation in wiring after this project.

JT also had a good week TSB done and Rough country seat covers arrived. Quick tip if anyone else is installing these seat covers, for the front seat lowers, disconnect stock elastic tie downs behind seat and fold upwards, this allows the material on RC to fully Velcro across bottom. They will form to seat a little better once they get broken in but quality seems great. Will be nice to keep stock seats like new for when we part ways a long time from now. Steering is night and day better after dealer installed new gear.

Nice, but I'm way too cheap for that - used a $10 piece of Unistrut instead ?

Can you expand on what you did and how you used unistrut to mount your lights? I like the idea of saving money.

The Unistrut is unpunched black w/endcaps from McMaster Carr. It is thru bolted (into the spring nuts) from the bottom thru the frame.
