Made my Mojave hood scope functional. Took ten minutes two screws. The back base plate just snaps on and off for the most part.

Added bed rails. Shout out to mike921921 for mentioning Mcmaster-Carr for the strut material. I ordered powder coated struts so I didn't need to paint. They were delivered the next day.
I just cut the side rails to length and drilled the holes. Total cost was about $145 including stainless bolts & washers from Amazon.
The hold downs were from my Nissan Frontier.

Installed this guy today. Found it from Amazon Warehouse for $203 as it was listed “Used, Acceptable”. Turned out it was unused and returned without the manual. Works for me. Well, we shall see how long it works. Haha.

Does it vibrate much?

It does move some but feels very solid. I think there's always going to be some movement using an extension arm mount this long. It's about 7".

It does move. The arm is solid but there's movement at the grab bar mount junction. Still very functional. I suspect there's going to be movement no matter what with a 12.4" tablet and 7" long arm.
