If you keep the F97 fuse pulled, what else do you lose.

One of the biggest hang ups I'm having with buying a modern truck is the surveillance.

Its still got the telematics. Even one with nav that doesn't have a built in GPS still actually has a GPS. Its just disabled in software.

No way, was I suggesting that guys/gals should leave fuse F97 pulled full time.

I, LOL, when I read guys saying they have "surveillance" concerns.. Get over it... 8-)

Sorry. I don't like the idea of Jeep knowing where I am at all times. I don't like the idea that they can disable the vehicle remotely. Its my car. I should own what I can do with it. I should own the driving data that I create.

The cameras are worse at this point if you live in or near anyone else. The camera software these days reads plates and sends that data to a central database that Is accessed by many organizations. This doesn’t sound bad until you learn that most police vehicles have cameras that read these plates, and most states and towns have traffic cameras everywhere that feed into the same database.

That being said, it still boggles my mind that the police would have trouble recovering a stolen vehicle.

Lights acting strang especially the shifter lights means one or both of your batties are almost dead. Guy on the way-a-life YouTube channel had the same issue with his JL, see the video posted about replacing batties.

I encourage JL/JT owners to take a little white out and mark F97 in the PDC (Power Distribution Center)

It on its own stopped having this issue shortly after I posted. No clue why it was doing it or why it suddenly fixed. I do find myself still looking to make sure it turns of completely to this day.
