Mounted my 35s today

I had SiriusXM from the factory, so didn't need the XM antenna (it's $95 if you do). Just plug and play, same plugs as the 5" on the 8.4".

I'm not sure if the 5" without the factory XM option includes a GPS antenna for nav? Worst case it's $95 and running it up on to the soundbar. But, it might already have one.

EDIT: To clarify ha, I read that back and it sounded a bit confusing. I did not need to add a separate Nav antenna.

ya that answered my question. i have xm with my 5 inch, but wasnt sure if there was a seperate antenna for the GPS. thanks

A very productive day!

Did the Teraflex 1.5” front and Daystar 3/4” rear lift today and everything turned out great. All four sides measures 41” from the ground to the bottom of the fender well. Also added 1.5” Teraflex wheel spaces while I had the tires off. Even rides better IMO and kept the OEM shocks, with no extensions needed. Very happy with the stance now and plan to move to 35” tires in the fall. Also slightly taller than the wife’s JK on the fenders but her hood is still higher with the 3” lift, although that is not important (yes...yes...it actually is very important)

Also got naked for summer time!

Mounted some Milwaukee packouts under my rear seats. Cut out a piece of wood to fit, wrapped it in some carpet and installed some mounts off of eBay!

Referencing the install of: Vision X rear light kit in Gladiator Rear Bumper

If'n you have the place ,time and patience...pull the bumper if you have catchers mitts for hand like I do. The neighborhood kids learned some new language and the old lady across the street is STILL clutching her pearls after I tried to shoehorn the peter-pumpers in there. Drivers side was the worst, probably 'cause of needing to use non-dominate hand. 1/4" drive, a few extensions and a wobble/universal joint adapter will help too.

Seems to work just as good as the OEM metal one.
I can pick up the same local stations that I have always been able to get.
