Ok guys hear me out. I just put some 35’s on my sport. I have a mopar lift on the way and I’m really reconsidering putting it on. I feel like I would like the way it would sit with a 1.5 level kit? I don’t want the mopar lift to sit too high and look funky with 35’s. I really like the way the tire to fender gap is right now. Post some pictures of your 35’s and level or mopar lift. Thank you

Leave the leveling kit and add the Mopar 2" lift, increase your front bump stops to 3" and don't look back!!!! Picture of mine running 37's, no rubbing even @ full flex, the gladiators really need 37's to "fill" the wheel wells. Just my opinion.

My buddy's blue Sport S Max Tow with a Teraflex 1.5" leveling kit and 35's.
If it was me, and I already had the Mopar lift on the way, I would install it.

Here is my Sport with a hybrid solution that combines leveling, rubicon suspension and rubicon flares.

I’m happy with the way it looks but am considering 37’s (but don’t want to re-gear - currently running 4:10’s)

the cost isn’t cheap but likely better than the Mopar plus all the bits you need to make it complete.

I have about $1.2k in the fenders, take off suspension and TeraFlex 1.5 leveling.

the ride is great too.

I forgot to add another buddy's Sport S Max Tow with the Mopar 2" and 35's for comparison.
My white JTR is on spacers. RC2.5"f/Daystar.75r and 37's.

Mopar lift with 1-1/2 tereflex level up front. Nitro ridge grapplers 305/55r20 measure 32-1/2 “ tall installed. Sits perfect level. I like the look ! Mopar lift did make the ride a little more firm….

I had a 2.5" lift on my Wrangler with 35 x 12s and I destroyed my fenders offroad. If you plan to sticking to pavement. You might be good. But on a tight turn or any articulation. Your fenders are going to be torn out.

Ask me how I know. lol

Running 35s with the Rubicon takeoffs and a 1.5 Terraflex Level. May add some gobi rubicon Fenders. Will flex it out good once the storms pass the mountains. We have crap weather this weekend.

I ran 35s with a 2.5" teraflex lift, winch and aluminum bumper on my JKU and never rubbed. Even disco'd and full flex.
Maybe your font end was super heavy?
