Finally had a chance to get my new Rugged Ridge Arcus stubby bumper installed today. Kiddo has been sick all week, so had to keep him out of summer camp and stay home with him. But finally snuck away a few hours.

Very straight forward install, and very happy with the quality of it. Winch plate is beefy, and the actual bumper/shell was beefier than I assumed from pics. Think it turned out great.

Only one hiccup, also had some Diode Dynamic SS3 amber fog lights to install, but I received the wrong bracket that wouldn't work with the bumper. They are sending me a replacement, so will report back once those are on. Nice looking little fog lights though.

And now to decide on which winch, if I even want to install one, or just blank off the opening for now. And yeah yeah, I know it would have made more since to install all at once, but it's only eight easy access bolts to remove the whole bumper cover to access winch plate.

And now a few pics and a shower ha.

2.5" Front/2.0" Rear spacer lift is next woohoo, just need to find the time.

That looks good. Hoping to get my RR Venator bumper installed this weekend.

Added the https://www.oraclelights.com/products/sidetrack?rq=mk_jeep~md_gladiator-jt~yr_2021 but with a twist, body match paint and a bit of orange. they are great for additional side blinkers, but are also wired to the #2 switch to be turned on as needed for side lighting. Also found the https://www.claytonoffroad.com/product/jeep-gladiator-adjustable-rear-track-bar-2020-jt-0 clayton track bar which allows me to fit a Toyo OpenCountry MT 37x13.5 under the bed. it works great!

So you do you, and I do me.
Is the $200 price on the markers you bought, vs. the $40 (ballpark) for AMAZON version worth it?
Asking because I have liked the idea of these since inception, and do not mind paying for quality.

Look forward to seeing it! I was hoping to get the front lift installed too today, but I ran into Diode Dynamics SS3 fog light bracket issues that took up a few hours of head scratching, thoughts of modifying, and then just calling them to get the correct brackets..... They were very helpful, and are sending me the correct brackets.

Love to see pics of your install!

And I'll keep you posted on my lift install.

What I did today is load it up! Leave tomorrow on a 4,000 mile, 10+ state, 10 day camping trip - from Tennessee to North Dakota. Just me and my teenage boy.
Unfortunately, my Oracle Oculus LEDs and my AVS Aeroskin didn’t arrive, so that’s what I’ll do to it after we get back.
Ready to roll! Just toss that Walgreens cap in the bin before you head out ?
And here I thought you were going to say just toss in that kitchen sink before you leave. :CWL::LOL:

@AverageDad Have fun on your trek around the countryside! I went on a similar trek/path when I was about 16 with my family back to my dad's home town of Towner in ND from there we travelled up into Canada all the way to Flin Flon and did a bunch of Walleye fishing there and along the way. I can tell you this from experience that even if your son doesn't appear to appreciate it in the here and now he will. I look back on that trip with very fond memories even if I did not seem to appreciate it then.

Finished my install on the Rough Country side Molle Panels. Dee Zee bed mat in. Very pleased. Have to make a slight adjustment for my tonneau cover to still fit. I’ll post pics of that once I finalize.

I really like those, but I was disappointed to hear you have to drill.

I was a little worried about it, but it was super easy. If you go that route, make sure you have a 6M nutsert tool. I did not and neither did any of my local hardware stores so I ended up just ordering Rough Country’s tool. Once I got that, it was very easy.

Did you add anything to the back or just 1.5" front. Is it level now? I just got my 1.5" in the mail, waiting on shocks to arrive.
Didn't do anything to the back. I still have a lot of clearance. I wanted to go in increments and see what I liked and what fit my needs. The good news is, my wife isn't complaining about the additional 'jump' into the seat yet (since the tires added a bit more height as well as the level).

Not all today but I've added name decals, Mopar grab handles, mastertop sun shade, jeepuniq radio mount and threw on some Rubicon rock rail take offs and removed the fender air dams.

Last weekend I installed the rough country molle panels, spending some time organizing gear on them this weekend. Picking up a few more metal ammo cans, I've installed rivnuts in one and bolted it directly to the MOLLE panel, really like the outcome.

I also installed a bulletpoint mounting solutions phone and GoPro holder. I used their 20mm to 17mm arm to attach my iOttie wireless charger. Super stable. Going to be running cables behind the dash today.

Up next is raptor lining the bed. Probably should have done this before the MOLLE panels...
