SiriusXM sucks on 2021 Jeep Gladiator.

The only time it's been spotty on mine is when I back clear into my garage - even then once I take it out of reverse and it's sitting still, it comes back fine. That's one of the few things about the radio that has actually worked as expected.

I stopped using Sirius because they’re limited on bandwidth and the sound is awful compared to FLAC files in a usb drive

how can I just disable it altogether? I hate the radio and now my subscription is out all I get is ads anytime I get in the truck? Aside from the mute button can I disconnect an antenna somewhere to just not have to hear it? You know how some of you hate start/stop with all your soul? Thats how I feel about sirius xm lol

It gets a little spotty up in Maine, but no more than in our JLU, mostly on dips and bends with a lot of tree cover, but then again so did my F-150.

Lol I think half these guys are their own enemy. They need to re gear then there is not enough power then they worry about gas mileage. I am so glad that myself and my friend don’t have all these problems with our Gladiators. Either buy a full size truck or if your worried about gas buy a Prius ? ?

Lol mine works Perfectly. I have 4 cars with Sirius and the gladiator works perfect. Drove through Nevada,Utah, Arizona, Texas and California not one problem with reception with Sirius. Try turning yours on. ?

Try it up north, like the Idaho panhandle, and you’ll sing a different tune.

I will agree with the OP. My last 2 rides, a 2016 Chevy Colorado and an 09 Audi A4, had much better reception. I drive the same roads and my JT definitely cuts out more. That being said, with the freedom tops off I find it comparable to my old cars. The problem is with the tops on. It is definitely worse

Guardian is a distinct package. I don't recall what the price for that was, but you can have one and not the other.

Yes, the Guardian Service and Radio Service are separate packages. The first year of Guardian is included with the truck purchase, and SiriusXM provides a 1 year trial for the Radio Service. The Guardian Service is renewed through the Mopar Owners website, and the Radio Service is handled by the SiriusXM website.
