I think I can mount a Rotopax sideways on that 813 bedside panel, I like how they look. Found a few mounting options I like and did some measuring based on that last pic, Thanks Jeremy.

Great! Let me know if you have any other questions. I was able to grab a 4 gallon and two 2 gallon Rotopax cans today for testing. I also ordered a set of MaxTrax. I will be working on BedSide and Tailgate MOLLE mounting options.

That's good, looking forward to seeing pics of the two-gallons on the side panels... clearing a tonneau as mentioned.

Also Max Trax on your front panel sounds good to me

I get asked this question sometimes about our MOLLE panels. In my opinion, the holes cut directly in front of the lights are deceiving. The lights actually angle inward toward the bed and don't shine directly forward through the holes that are cut out. The other issue is once you actually mount something on the MOLLE panels, it blocks the light. So I chose to design the panels with a full MOLLE grid for more mounting options. I also designed the panels so they are modular. You can choose to have a lower cutout for the bed outlet or if you don't have the outlet you can choose a full lower panel. This also means you don't have a useless cutout on the driver's side.

I understand your reasoning for your design concept especially with the option for having the bed outlet cut out or not and being able to use the existing trail rails or without.

But regardless of how the bed light technically shines or how much gear you have next to it, I still think a cut out for the bed light sections would look way more aesthetically pleasing. I mean it really isn’t taking away that much space by having the light section cut out. Nor are you adding a significant amount by keeping it. That’s just my opinion and unfortunately it’s the only thing keeping me from getting them, especially since you’re local for me. It be too easy actually. Besides that downfall (for me), I actually think @eight13design personally look better than most on the market. I may eventually go with a Molle Panel Solitions set although they’re pretty pricy.

Any updates, Jeremy-- waiting for those pics!
We are going though the new full Cab Side panels right now! We just received everything yesterday. I have the 4 gallon Rotopax that came this week as well as the MaxTrax. I'm still waiting on the 2 gallon Rotopax cans. I will be working with everything this weekend to see what my possibilities are.

I'm looking at Molle Platform Solution panels. They are a little pricey, but I have used his stuff before on my JKUR and it was excellent quality. Plus I think it is a small, local business, so I want to keep supporting them.

I totally understand your thoughts. I have some gear for my air system mounted in that area and can say that it would not be possible if there was a cutout for the light.

Sounds good! Looking forward to seeing the results.

We all have different needs and ideas of what we want to use the panels for. I personally like how 813 has sides that don't have the outlet and light cutouts because in my case that's the area I want to hang the Rotopax anyway. I don't want them at the front of the bed, ill put traction boards there.

813 has a very valid point about the bed lights. Had I realized it before making my purchase of the rough country panels I'd have done things differently. Now that I had all my gear mounted on the panels the lights are pretty useless. I am installing the oracle bed light strips to take care of this.

Agreed. I have one side of mine covered completely with our Bed Side Compressor Enclosure also.

Does that compressor cover weatherproof the compressor or do you have a bed cover. Always wondered if the ARB compressors and associated wiring could get wet

I have a bed cover on mine. I have a few customers using it without one but not sure of their climates and such. ARB does say it is best to keep the filters and relay dry.
