My fear is they are strategically not doing this because they don't want to interfere with Ram sales.
I agree this sort of seems likely, but ultimately I don't think it holds up. I've said more on this in other threads, but succinctly: 1) the RAM v8 upgrade is CHEAP due to Chevy smallblock and Ford ecoboost competition. There's plenty of space to charge way less than the Wrangler 392 upcharge while still charging more than they do on the 1500; and 2) you can buy a Ram with a v8 for cheaper than you can buy a Gladiator, period. If the concern is average selling prices then Ram should only sell the Hemi on its upper trims.

Every single RWD/AWD product FCA/Stellantis sells which offers the Pentastar also offers one or more Hemi options. Gladiator is the only exception :(

While we are at it manual transmission options for the hemi and the diesel (along with max tow). LOL
Challenger offers this, even with the Hellcat. Sometimes automakers are weird - why Challenger Hellcat manual was a thing but 90% identical Charger Hellcat manual wasn't will never make sense to me...

I just wish they would offer a bigger V6. 3.6 liters, 219 ci, is tiny, not much torque for towing. Maybe bore and/or stroke it to somewhere around 4.2 or 4.6 liters. I think the 392 takes up a lot of room and produces a lot of heat, which is hard to dissipate with the small radiator possible in the chassis. Maybe they could spread the frame rails, etc. somewhat to allow a wider radiator.
Pentastar torque is class competitive. Not class leading but not the worst either. As for a 4.2 or 4.6, two issues: 1) would be a unique engine only for Gladiator and hence hard to amortize versus just tuning the Pentastar for the application; and 2) basically no engines are being upsized these days due to fuel econ standards.

Radiator size is styling-constrained.

MY22 detail trickled out:

MY22 can be ordered with half doors from the factory. "Dual door group"
I asked in the other thread too, but do you have a source for this?

Two versions: Base, and Premium.
Now if only they would allow an only half doors option from the factory, instead of 5k for slightly more open doors.

Yes, but it's a "banned site" or something like that if I post a link. Mopar Insiders (maybe that'll get through the filters...).

OK. So I can post the name, just not a link. Go to (that).com, search "jeep", and it's the first result.

Anybody know why it's banned? I've seen that before and I don't think it's the only site. Is it because they don't want the click-backs or something?

That's just a list of trim levels at this point. None of the links go anywhere.
It's been used before as evidence there will be no 5.7 or 6.4, but I still think it's just a copy-paste placeholder. I mean I would be surprised if a Hemi shows up this year either way, but I wouldn't take this source as definitive.

Gladiator 4Xe

Which will probably cause me to sell my Gator JTR.
The 4xE is nice I just like to stay away form the turbo 4banger and 35 mile electric only is horrible. Very nice idea and the world is defiantly going that way but the 4xE just seems like a rushed project to get a foot in the game.

That's been there for awhile now, probably just a placeholder.

I remember seeing it 2 weeks ago.
