a V8 option with the same 7650 towing capability as a max tow sport s would sell me in seconds but I think that is dream scenario.I'm going to tow with mine so the 4xe version will probably have crappy towing and payload capacity. I'm holding out to see if they release a v8 version or max tow in anything other than sport or sport s (along with unconnect 5).
My fear is they are strategically not doing this because they don't want to interfere with Ram sales.a V8 option with the same 7650 towing capability as a max tow sport s would sell me in seconds but I think that is dream scenario.
I do not think the customer base between the two connect that much to impact either. RAM truck sales have been a 5X-7X eclipse of Gladiator sales by a wide margin. Gladiator coming out with a V8 option will poach very little from RAM sales. My fear is they are strategically not doing this because they don't want to interfere with Ram sales.
Plus it would suck to order a 21 right now and miss anything new for a 2022 model year.I’m just about ready to order…. Just not sure if I want to wait until they cut over to 2022. Not that having a different year truck matters to me so much, but with logistics right now. Who knows…
I ordered yesterday. I’d rather have the car being built than waiting for November to start. Hopefully irs nothing big, unconnect 5 would annoy me but not as much as having to wait months more for a car to come.Plus it would suck to order a 21 right now and miss anything new for a 2022 model year.
We are on the same boat. I ordered mine last Friday.I ordered yesterday. I’d rather have the car being built than waiting for November to start. Hopefully irs nothing big, unconnect 5 would annoy me but not as much as having to wait months more for a car to come.
Don't Forget muh Vented Seats!!! Hell if we're dreaming DREAM BIG! LOLOK now everyone else say it with me now:
V8, Uconnect 5, Extreme Recon, Lockers on any trim, more interior colors, more exterior colors, power sliding rear window, more standard equipment, 360* camera, ... ?
While we are at it manual transmission options for the hemi and the diesel (along with max tow). LOLDon't Forget muh Vented Seats!!! Hell if we're dreaming DREAM BIG! LOL
I doubt there will be anything too too crazy, unless the prices drop.Plus it would suck to order a 21 right now and miss anything new for a 2022 model year.
