After doing some research here about how to best protect my trailer hitch, I hit up Richard @ Skid Mark 4x4 who provided me with a MIL/LE/public safety discount in addition to free shipping. Received the package in almost NO time and was pleased to see that in addition to a cool sticker to slap on my tool box that they included a strip of grip tape, which I threw on just for laughs...
It's RIDICULOUSLY solid and keeps a low/snug profile while offering maximum protection. It's good for any trailer hitch that may be exposed to impacts and fits a whole bunch of different applications. In addition, if you have a Nimitz class Aircraft Carrier you could use it as an anchor...!
* I did forget to note that I have not encountered any false reverse/backup sensor warnings because of it either. I've heard that being a concern in general, not specific to any trailer hitch skid plate that I can recall off the top of my pea brain right now...
