Nothing Toyo makes is going to help you, because Nitto is a Toyo brand. They use the same rubber.

Falken makes the best A/T tire right now, but I had excellent success with the Yokohama X-AT also.
I did not know nitto was a Toyo brand. That explains why they are the only tire brands in 35x11.5x17

I've had 14 Jeeps and have tried every brand/model of tire they make. Always looking for that perfect blend of traction, looks and quiet. Just a heads up, they don't make it ;)

I currently have 315/70-17 Bridgestone AT Revo 3's. They're the best tire I've encountered so far. I did give up some traction in our beautiful red clay mud (I actually had to shift into 4wd once ?)) but they ride great and are compeltely silent. This is the 3rd set on this truck (have just over 3000 miles on it...so I experiment. and it's costly)

I'm going to say that these tires are horrible......bumpy and wobbly.....My JL before this had same tires and rode bad. I have a friend who rides on Toyo Open country and ride is smooth as butter. 315/70/17. What are your opinions on the ridge grapplers or have a better suggestion? Fyi....im on stock suspension and have Max tow.
So in less than 10 hrs you’ve got 3 pages of responses.
Tires, type of oil, you just can’t get two more popular forum topics.?

But what are you after, quietness, longevity, traction in snow/mud/ice/ dry pavement? You said you do a lot of highway miles, asphalt will be hard wearing on many softer AT/MT tires. There is no one tire that can do it all. Are you “wheelin” often?
BUT, as previously mentioned Bridgestone Revos are as close to a do all tire there is.
Good luck, your going to need it as there so many choices.

Hard to balance is not a lie!

@xcantuaj check out the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T. I have heard nothing but good things from everyone that is using them. Many are previous Nitto Ridge Grappler guys and have said after riding on the new Baja Boss they won't go back to the Nitto's. That says something.
And the great thing about the Mickeys is that they're a Cooper-made tire like dozens of other brands, which means they're USA. Good stuff.

Good luck with multiple sets of Toyos ATIIs and ATIIIs the 3s are 3pmsf rated and much better in the snow and wet. Also made in the US, with 50k mile warranty

This is clearly a topic owners can’t easily figure out themselves. All those Jeep and truck and car magazines and websites - why can’t one ( a credible one that just don’t want free trips or free stuff for reviews ) of those just do an up-to-date unbiased review of all 35 A/T tires with a variety of ranked categories?

I had 37" ridge grapples on my JK for over 50k miles. They're mostly an all around great tire. However, they are decent in the rain and they SUCK in mud. Even after 50k miles, they still had tread left on them. Probably could have gotten another 15-20k or so out of them.

I have General X3s in 34 in. (LT295/70/17) You'd be hard pressed to find a better riding or better rated tire. I don't know why they're not more popular. I've had them on for about 15000 miles and haven't regretted it.

My neighbor has a set of 35s on his JK and they’re quieter than my 315 BFG KO2s. He seems to like them. Personally I’ve always had luck with the BFGs so I went with what I know works for me and I’ve been super happy so far. Can air down to 15psi for solid trail use and still handle my 100+ Mile a day commute.

The falken wildpeak ATs that came stock were really solid as well if you’re looking for a good road worthy AT.

I have 35 nitto ridge grapplers as well and love them. I daily drive mine at speeds over 70mph daily and it rides great. Must have too much air in them. I run 28-30 psi. Rides super smooth. My only negative thing about the nittos are the surface cracks they get in between the tread
