Really digging the set up! How are you feeling about the Baja A/T,s after some time? I'm about to pull the trigger ... are you running factory gears? ... any input would be greatly appreciated as the wheel/tire specs I'm looking at are the same & real world experience is always best ... ?

I really like the setup. I had to get the tires re-balanced but I put that on the retailer I purchased them from, not the tires. I'm glad I went with the offset I did (-6). I know it's all subjective but I like a little bit of tire poke and feel like it really gives the truck an aggressive stance. I am on factory 4.10 gears and it's fine. MPGs dropped a touch but I'm still up over 18 with mixed driving. I still see plenty of 8th gear so the truck is still performing close enough to how it was designed where I don't feel a need to regear.

Pretty simple but installed some bolt covers courtesy of @The Beav for the Bestop Sunrider. Highly recommend to get rid of the look of the two front bolt just sticking up.

Didnt want to buy a 5th $400 tire so… scoured the local sources and found nothing. Got this one shipped to my door from eBay for $88. Town fair mounted and balanced for $19. Now have a full size spare tucked in. Not the same brand, but same size so all good in my book

Fuel bronze Unit D785 17x9 1mm offset balanced and mounted today. Kept my BFG MT KM2s from the factory. Thanks @RealTruck for the great deal on these wheels! Love them!

Are those -44? I have the same wheels and went back and forth forever. Ended up +12 because local police are keen to tires too far outside the fender. Mine are about 3” or so now. Your wheels look WAY nicer, love the big dish.

I did not do an alignment. I don’t have adjustable control arms or track bars so the only things an alignment shop can adjust are toe and the steering wheel being on center. Neither of those should change with new tires. That said, toe is off on a lot of JTs from the factory so if you aren’t comfortable checking/adjusting that in the driveway than it may warrant an alignment. If it’s driving fine I wouldn’t worry about it though.

This weekend, i finally got around to installing my Oracle backup lights and the flush mount tail lights.
Those are FREAKING BRIGHT. might be a little too bright... sorry to the people behind me...

Today I finished wiring my maximus-3 sport bar.

Tapped the third brake light under the bed for the center red lights and the passenger bed light for the white cargo lights.

Got brave and drilled into the sport bar to hide the wires for clean install. I'm going to seal the holes with silicone to keep water out.

Finished the suspension lift and steering system upgrade today. Took her to the Oceano Dunes for a shake down run.
